true, in reality they had way more than that if they used a large GP

and the german egg grenade was way smaller than the m24 stick grenade, and depending on circumstances, the germans could have as many as they like, probably 2 at minimum
but all in all, IF any grenade nerf, then the grenades should have a arming animation that would slow down the spam significantly

whats the skill issue about having AI enter a building the way they were programmed? i cant control them, they walk wherever theyāre programmed to go.
find me one instance where a APM designed to be buried was placed on wooden/rocky/metal surface
tell that to the AI, not me. i dont mind if i step on a APM, it happens. but as said, the spam is whats the issue here

These were the grenadiers. If you want to add a new class that would be the only one to carry grenades, Iām all for it.
Okay, make up for the mines in the buildings. Make traps or whatever the engineers used to put in the buildings, make it, program it, test it, send it to DF. Write them a message that you want to replace unrealistic mines in buildings with realistic traps in buildings. When a mine canāt just be placed on the surface, I wonder how they dropped mines from airplanes.
If mines are gonna get any type of nerf in this game you better be bringing up half of guardian reaperās topics for defenders because you gotta keep in mind the minds were to stop the running gun lunacy and if we just nerf the mind weāll just make defenders lives even worse than it already is.

i mean that could be added, but that would work about as good as you can guess by yourself. few days after theyāre added, people like me would complain about a even bigger grenade spam. this would be unless they added a slow grenade arming animation, something that would slow the grenade spam down
Only thing Iād do, is implement an animation for mine placing. About 5 seconds.
Maybe is a problem only on my part, but on console is all more sluggish so we already have 3 sec āāāāanimationāāāā" for deploying mine
Trust me you donāt want realism in this game. Iāve read enough about WWII to know that if this game were realistic, no one would be playing it. War is never fair, there is a reason why almost no one plays realistic games. Engineers actually knew how to mine an area so much that it took a whole week to clear it. Various traps were also laid in buildings. There were decoy systems. Sometimes they just waited for someone to enter the building and detonated the explosive. Is this what you want in the game?
dont worry, thereās always the alternative option that would still enable the defenders to defend.
thereās things such as the wire trap. the already existing soviet anti personnel mine can do this, while also being put in the ground.
the italian b4 mine can be used as a wire trap for germans.
thereās many more options, you just gotta see them.

Yes, actually there is an animation in the game where a soldier stretches his hand to place a mine and it lasts I think more than three seconds. And itās also on PC. So it just proves that he didnāt play with the mines, and he wants to add something that is already in the game. How can anyone discuss something they have never played with?
this⦠is what we actually got in the game. since this game is fast paced and the mine deployment is super fast, you can easily mine the whole building like how youāve described.

If youāve been playing nothing but BR5 like I have since the merge you know having AP minds the way they are are very important to stop the running gun lunacy and if you want this change to actually go through then the entire concept of defenders need to be reworked and the engineers need a complete overhaul.

i mean fair, theyāre there to stop tryhards. but it still creates a issue where you can drop tons of them in a matter of a minute or two. for a ordinary players that play where the running gun lunacy isnt prevalent, it gets quite annoying when every doorstep is mined
Address the main problems of the game then you can start talking about the minds and that also includes suicide bombers as well

We did NOT get this in the game. In real life, the mine killed everyone around. He only kills one in the game. They actually need to buff the mines, not nerf them.
