It’s easy to say that development of something was a waste of time when you have 70y foresight.
In the time, placing zimmerit was actually a reasonable thing to do (at least at the beggining).

I’m not talking about development. I’m talking about the real decision to prioritize zimmerit over delivering tanks to the front.

It was justified, unless untill it was clear nobody uses magnetic charges…
AT Rifles in Enlisted worked perfectly sounds and as they should. Rifles to cripple Tanks, take out barrels, Tracks, Shoot them in the back, proper AT Infantry duty. and low BR Light Tanks and Cars can most be taken car of through sides and rear.
It’s early war weapons meant and designed for dealing with early vehicles, meaning lightly armored, and they do jsut that fine.
If for one thing they are Overpowered on Enlisted since you can run around! and shooting standing and walking, which is ridiculous.
If anything they all should get slapped with only being able to be fired from prone position or with bipods firmly attached to hard surface, say window or wall, you should definetely not be able to move with them and shoot. Some of em I’d say is ok being crouched and whatnot shooting with them the lighter ones. but the Jap and this new one should be locked to lying still on ground with bipods attached, anything else is ridiculously unrealistic.
There is much in realistic of gun handling that needs to be made more realistic, sprint penalty, shooting and firing accuraccy should be shit, reloading way too fast and easy, jumping, just pray n spray, all should be nerfed for better more realistic gameplay, to give it slightly less Fortnite play. F hate that kind of nobrainer trash gameplay
enlisteds not that game though. They have embraced Arcade in all other areas of gunplay/gameplay
makes little sense to not apply the same arcade to AT rifles (at the moment)
besides…Bipods are janky as hell

Enlisted is a Squad Milsim Combined Arms Squad FPS handling historical War.
It needs to be worked up and made more realistic and grittier and historical, why fcking allow it to fall and not do somehting about it, i’m not asking for full Simulator Game, but you can do with a healthy dose of realism in all aspects for this game and it would be more intertesting and fun, atleast that’s for me.
