Nerf Bolt-Action Aim assist or add it to every other gun

I cant get over 200 kills per match unless i Spam L2 and R2 with a Mosin M91/30, why are Bolt-Actions this overpowered?

Shouldn’t they be a weapon of precision, rewarding players with careful aiming at medium range instead of making them the most effective weapon at Close, Medium, and Long Range?

a Bolt action rifle Shouldn’t be able to out gun a Submachine Gun inside of a building by tapping L2 and R2.
The Aim assist Should just be removed altogether or give it to every weapon in the game Even though the Bolt action would still win.

A few suggestions:

  • give realistic damage to every weapon in the game just like Isonzo and hell let loose.

  • remove the aim assist on bolt-Actions to make them precision weapons.

  • give the overpowered aim assist to every weapon to give other weapons a fighting chance.

  • Dont reply to this unless you play on console.

Really… I’ve never had this problem…

Personally I don’t mind the power that bolt actions have in game. Firstly it’s a huge benefit for new players especially in consoles.
New F2P players won’t get access to high level weapons for a time and if bolt actions weren’t at least a viable weapon to contest high level players running around with 3 assault squads all armed with assault rifles then we’re really only handicapping the those players who don’t have alot of equipment to choose from.

SMGs and Fully automatic rifles are already incredibly powerful and they definitely don’t need higher damage across the board

Enlisted also isn’t built like those games. The entire game would need a complete rework if they were to play like the slower paced FPS shooters such as HLL, Verdun, Isonzo, or Post Scriptum

We have come full circle: complain about bolt action being bad, it gets buffed, then complain bolt action is OP because it actually kills things.

Turn off aim assist if it bothers you.

I play on Xbox, and I can tell you that I don’t have a problem with how it is now.

They do require precision. Waist up they are USUALLY lethal. (Unless enemy has vitality perk). That said, they have to rechamber after every shot, have a capacity of 5-10, and usually have to load each bullet if you aren’t starting at 0. They have a high risk/reward factor.

It’s needed on console, as we have less overall control when using a controller. So taking it out probably is not going to happen. Otherwise, ALL weapons DO have access to aim assist upon the initial aim. This includes SMGs, Semi-autos, Bolt-Actions, Shotguns, MGs, etc. They all do.

The damage amounts correspond just fine.

Overall, the only reason that Bolt Actions come out on top in some of these situations is because of high damage that they are given because they are worse in pretty much every other way. Lower ammo count, lower rate of fire, slower reload, even barrel length comes into play. Work around it. Choose a different engagement distance, bring a different weapon, use the vitality perk, use smoke grenades, there are tons of options. Heck, if your issue is at a point blank range, consider using melee, smoke, and faster movement perks. I’ve had times that a knife in hand beats out a whole squad of bolt-actions.

As far as tactics go, one size does not fit all. Learn to adapt. (I’m not saying it’s a “skill issue”, as your skill in your chosen tactic might be top notch. It might just be the wrong tactic for that specific scenario.)

if only I could count how many times ive landed 2-100 shots in cqc with my super op smg / assault rifle to bot only to get killed by 1 hit.

They are exactly that. Turn off your aim assist before complaining, you’ll see they’re already exactly as you request…

A mild exaggeration however I can’t really say I see this too often. I can easily clear a room full of bots with an automatic no issues. Every so often AI engage their god like reflexes and 1 tap me but honestly a rare occasion not worth mentioning from my experiences

In hell let loose Kar98k kills in one shot but only up to 200 m.
After adding a scope the same Kar98k can kill in one shot at any range through the whole map.

This has to be realistic ?

Isonzo is fast paced like enlisted but has hell let loose elements like realistic damage, t i believe enlisted would do well if it played like Isonzo

Does turning off aim assist stop L2 R2 Spam from other players or just me?

If i turn off aim assist does it stop my adversary from using aim assist?

I haven’t played Isonzo but I have Verdun and Tannenburg, they definitely aren’t nearly as fast paced an Enlisted.

I have aim assist off, 200 is piss easy, I’m expecting 100 minimum if its a good match but 200 isn’t hard in any campaign that has good numbers

Aim assist is available to console players as controllers have less control than a mouse and keyboard does.

i know that, but non console players use aim assist aswell, so i get bullshit kills
