when the new BR goes into effect we should have a good number of pay to win players in there And one of two of them will have a plane that they can blow up the Gray zone camper So you don’t need to flank them when a plane can solve most of those problems
Based off of who’s opinions? From what I have gathered from reading all of the various topics about the BR system, is that weapons and gear are being placed in tiers that they do not belong.
So whenever the decision is made, and the final product is released to the community… What we are going to see is an ABUNDANCE of people coming to the forum and complaining about this weapon or that weapon or this tank or that tank not belonging to the appropriate tier.
The forum is going to be overloaded with people complaining about the new systems…
And then we’ll probably see weapons and vehicles, and gear, all be moved around and changed, nerfed, buffed, etc…
It’s going to be an ongoing circus show, and forum probably going to be more entertaining than the game itself.
That’s good. That means the German paratroopers will get at least 200 rounds of ammunition for their FG 42’s, to be in balance with the Americans who have 300-400 rounds of ammo for their Thompson and Vickers machine guns. That’s a relief to hear. I love equality!!!
Yeah but Grey Zone camping is a universal issue amongst all campaigns and all factions. The vehicle type is irrelavant when a new player does not have the gear or means to reach someone who’s camping 150-200 yards beyond the grey-zone’s line.
The solution is better map designs, and implementing a mechanic the gives either 0%, 25%, or 50% XP for players who kill enemy units while operating a vehicle within the grey zone area. If people aren’t getting xp rewards for kills, then that would probably motivate most people to push forward far enough that the enemy infantry can engage with TNT packs.
The grey zone is good the way it is what the problem is with this game is this entire game needs to change the lack of teamwork is the problem when I used to be on Xbox I used to be a frontline fighter but when I was a frontline fighter do you know what happened I killed a few of the infantry but then they swarm me my friend watched as they surrounded me he kept trying to kill as many of them as he could but he couldn’t they just overwhelmed me And my team did nothing as I died on the front line
You literally described every free-to-play team-based game in existence.
Well that means people gonna stay in the Gray zone unless you’re telling tankers to commit suicide
I think a big issue with having a lack of teamwork, is the fact that team-communications is sub-par.
-Unless you’re playing with a friend(s), console players can’t use their microphones to talk to other players while in the game.
-And the command-wheel only has a limited amount of options to choose from. Of which, we are missing very important dialogue that is preventing players from effectively communicating and working as a team.
I’m fine with grey zone camping, I had this discussion before but armoured vehicles in the tactical setting were historically used behind the infantry and shelled buildings and suppressed enemy positions.
I rarely ever drive a tank through the front line, guaranteed way to be blown up.
Sheep As you already know at this point the devs hate any concept of teamwork or kill zones so that’s never gonna happen.
We can’t even say yes or no in the quick chat option unless you have a keyboard
I literally do not understand the thought process of ‘The devs hate the game that they spend time creating.’ They quite obviously do not hate teamwork, over the last year there have been countless buffs to the engineer class, specifically to make people build spawn points. They can’t force it to happen because that would be too artificial. People just need to learn the game and understand how important it is, that takes time.
Yes that’s good and all but that only benefits people in stacks or in discord and yet randoms can’t even communicate with each other In this game there’s no time for conversation it’s get onto the objective and defend it unless they plan to slow down this game
Not sure how long you’ve been playing the game, but once upon a time, the command-wheel had a “yes” and “no” option. So when a teammate asks for an ammo box or a rally point, we would have the ability to say “yes”.
But it was silently removed MONTHS ago, with no explanation why.
Going back further, Console players used to have the ability to open the team-scorecard, and send a direct-message to anybody playing from a console. It was a fast way to add friends, and start conversations.
And this was also silently removed with no explanation whatsoever.
The game works the way it is with no communication because if there’s communication people could start setting up kill zones and start dominating the other team there’s a reason why a stack is so powerful is because they have communication
People start deserting when they see a powerful stack in effect could you imagine what would happen in the majority of the games where people actually work together most people would never wanna play that they wanna have random arcade fun instead of game of strategy
I will admit, I don’t play on a console, so I don’t know how the comms work there. Although I can guarantee that even having the ability to communicate with randoms better would probably do nothing to alleviate the problem as 99% of people don’t read the chat.
You don’t understand how powerful communication is A-Team working together can change the tides of battle simple yes or no commands are very important to communicate with squads
That’s just your opinion. I’m sure there’s a lot more than you can imagine, but considering the format of the gameplay, many people are probably choosing to focus on farming XP to grind the campaign, than they care about being slaughtered at the objective.
There’s not a single answer to this issue, and having a poor communication system doesn’t help improve gameplay.
I fully understand communication. My squadmates and I run 60-70% or more for each campaign on both sides. The only assumption you’re making which I disagree with is that people will listen/respond in a timely manner to facilitate effective teamwork.
I would definitely like an improved comms system, even proximity voice chat would be cool. I am just skeptical of strangers working together effectively.
That’s fair but when I was playing on Xbox before it died PlayStation players I bumped into where juggernauts you’d be surprised how powerful simple communication could be with those people.
And another reason I do not believe that developers would even want to add more things for teamwork if this game were more team oriented it would destroy the arcade Ness and the casuals will not enjoy it when you get decimated by team with communications.
People are going to play the game however they wish. Nobody is going to force anybody to do anything they don’t wanna do… And for those who do not care about communicating with other people, they have the option to mute/silent any and all players.
But for those who DO want to communicate, the options should be readily available. People should be allowed to talk to each other, because the technology is nothing new and has been around for decades.
For example: The original Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Black OPS, and MW2, Halo, Halo 2, were all sensational games because of open-microphone communications. Where ALL players could talk amongst each other from their microphones, with no restraint. Sure, there were annoying people, people playing music in the background, and weirdos, etc… but all could be muted at the click of a button.
And whenever you got matched up with a good group of people… the matches were a hell of a lot of fun, because people worked together, and conversations were equally entertaining.
