I’ve been seeing this for several days, at different times, and for a game that has the entire planet on a single server, I’ve never seen it go above 5k as a maximum.
Also, assuming that of the 1k to 4k daily players play in “any server” they play more with bots than with people.
I would love to see it at least reach 10k a day someday.
They should do more to encourage content creators to promote the game in different parts of the world.
There are tons of issues plus TT could be completed within 1.5 years.
So people just leave it occasionally.
Issues should be fixed, lategame progression should be added maybe then players will comeback(like they are doing every major patch)
I’ve been playing for over three years now, and after playing roughly 20 to 30 games a day for probably 2 1/2 years I am down to just playing four of five a day, but haven’t played in the last two by choice. I won’t quit playing entirely, but I doubt I ever go back to the amount I was playing, unless the gameplay significantly improves.
I pretty much always select “Any” server when I play.
It’s not just problem if acquiring new players but also keeping them and playing usually new players are complaining about:
Grind - despite it now being much more manageable and actually not grindy xp wise with just a premium
Silver gain - always a problem even as top tier player with premium stacked
Jankiness - animations are dreadful especially with movement and some guns, bipods, getting stuck with vehicles and countless bugs don’t make it any better
Too much menu shuffling - it’s pretty obvious how awful first time experience must be once new player is forced to buy, upgrade and equip new weapons for their soldiers then he has
Game is not casual like cod/bf but also not as hardcore as HLL - normies really are confused they can’t gasp that something could be in the middle of both gameplay types and feel alienated and go back to playing their familiar games
No BR1 safe heaven for new players outside of first few matches - they get crushed and grinded by BR2 vets constantly
Bot ai being dreadful
Too much FOMO and too expensive premiums even during sales
No map filter - at least it’s coming
No easy way to play with more famous guns without wasting 50s hours on grinding them - you need to grind 22 items to finally unlock first Thompson of BR2 ain’t that damn too much?
Bigger advertisement budget not going to happen as Gaijin lost faith in Enlisted many months ago, money spent on the game got lower and lower and now it’s at the stable but very low level just sufficient to develop a couple of major and smaller updates and ofc premiums+events+BP weapons, cutting down CMs and mods was to lower it even more.
What’s the point of hiring someone like pewdiepie if he won’t be passionate about the game and stream it out of his enjoyment, it’s the same problem as with Warframe both games are pretty boring to watch it’s streams.
At the current time game has no mainstream appeal, never even tried to be advertise on something like game awards and those major updates have become pretty tiny and events more lame with zero new infantry squads.
Honestly, it’s not surprising that new players are complaining about all the p2w shit here. Don’t get me wrong the game itself is good, but unless you like staying still for hours grinding to get a shitty carcano and then getting 360 no-scoped by some random bot, then this isn’t really the game for you.
This game is never ever gonna have high playerbase. I remember myself starting to play this game before the merge, and that was the game I liked, didn’t care about perks/grind, just decided to play whatever campaing I want to play and played it, and didn’t even care about steamrolls/loses/wins, it was so chill, but now after the merge even tho I know some problems are fixed, game is not the same and Im having a hard time to enjoy. as someone who constantly plays this is my single experiment. Im seeing some "sponsered 10-15 minute long enlisted videos from youtubers who has 100-500k subs, and when I watch them all I realize is they all have free squad slots, premimum squads, and almost everything unlocked for them. I know they all played only 2-3 hours which makes like 4-6 match max. and what they represented in this game is not the truth that people finds out when they start playing, because when a ordinary guy saws him walking around with flame tank and bombing his enemies with ju188 he will say oh thats cool game I can play it and when he start playing he will find out that he have to GRIND a LOT then he will also realize that he is stuck with 4 squad and there is no free way for him to get other slots like he saw in the video. this game is cooked
thats a reasonable initial assumption, but everyone understanding the game on a deep level knows that spamming ads wont work (otherwise gaijin would do it)
enlisted still fails at being new player friendly
the game fails at retaining new players (ads only lose money if the new customer retention is too low)
this games management has no clear idea what to do and acts randomly instead of purposefully
the game design/balance/content is mismagened hard, leading to constantly repeated fiascos that demotivate players, reduce long term consumer confidence & simply prevent real growth
there are at least 2 games currently being made that will be similar to enlisted that can replace it if theyre intelligently managed, so enlisted is under time pressure, but doesnt act accordingly
the only USP (factor that gives enlisted critical advantages over other games) is its high quality vehicle system (compared to all other games, that have mediocre to straight up dumpster fire vehicle models), but even this is wasted on too small maps/player numbers per team & more than half of all tanks/planes in the game not being playable due to uncreative design/BR placement mismanagement
mhmm yes I love my high quality tiger and IS when they stuck bcs of single stone, or wreck, but jokes aside u are right devs has no idea what they are doing and all their succes belongs to luck, they just does some things then finds outs if works or not
