Nazi Zombies for Halloween? (Or as an actual permanent mode)

First, have some spooky music to set the mood:

So I have been thinking, sure lots of other WW2 games have delved into nazi zombies like Call of Duty World at War and Sniper Elite, but I think with heavy focus on AI in this game this kind of CO-OP could actually work well.

It could be you and say 7 other soldiers (all players) in parts of some pre-existing maps (but made spooky with mist and darker lighting etc and other decorations and stuff to fit the mood), fighting ever growing zombie hordes until you all get eaten? With there being rewards of silver for getting past certain waves, maybe being able to get a gold weapon order if you make it past wave 50 (but only like every 2 months or something)?

Also the part on Konigstrasse with the embassy building surrounded by that courtyard, or even the Reich’s chancellor would be really cool and make for good maps for this mode, where you will have to watch lots of windows and barricade them etc.

Crsed ( the other game made by DF ) does have zombies.

but currently not compatible ( or rather, we cannot upload stuff ) with enlisted.

i doubt they’ll make an april fool type of events for halloween.

we didn’t got one in two years… i doubt this year or next year will be different.

but… sure, i could see it for an April fool event and what not.

Hey this is cool, maybe make it a PVE mode
Especially city maps like Berlin or Stalingrad can make people feel creepy.

Yea that’s exactly what I was thinking, make it night time and misty, maybe add more gore around and then BAM - horror game lol

Once the game is officially out of beta we might see events. Depending on if they can spare the man hours for stuff like that.

Oh hell yes! The enlisted ai is comparable to zombies so the only thing they gotta do is to add bloody and ripped clothes and scary faces and we get the perfect zombies. Some zombies would have melee weapons like knifes, axes, shovels. The maps need darker atmosphere with random weapons scattered around the map and maybe even customizable zombie hunter clothes. Cool rewards for zombies mode could be trench shotgun, trench mace, customization items like damaged clothes and maybe even some blood spilled on our soldiers
face.

Would love for fun events like this that would be very different from normal enlisted matches. I highly doubt we will get anything this year though, I hope the devs have been hard at work on the merge and whatever else they can accomplish on the roadmap before the years end.

Stalingrad is already creepy.
I mean, go into a home and find half eaten breakfast left on the table, crib filled with ruble, every home is half destroyed and their former occupants are out somewhere, possibly fleeing or hiding in a basement.
The same thing happened in Berlin IRL and most other cities that became warzones, but Berlin doesn’t have these fine details that make Stalingrad depressing.
If we ever get a zombies mod, it has to be in Stalingrad.

I would love to see it even as a stand alone mode, not just as an even.
It would have so much potential!
