I think that the name decor could be an appropriate tribute to the players and also mobilize those who are interested in name decor.

i’ll start by saying that… i don’t think trinkets should be the main focus.
but, at the same time, an incentive for more players to be on the forum and contribute ( unless you act like a certain 
) would be of help.
therefore, i suppose a decor would get some attraction.
but perhaps there should be a " requirement ".
you need to read X, replay ammount, or topics created with at least more than X likes etc.
but, the cynical part of me recognizes that could be abused, and at the same time…
eh… a decor for the forum? dunno.
if that’s gonna happen for the growth of the forum, sure. if not, i can somewhat see and understand why that hasn’t been a thing since the beginning.
but… then there would be people starting to ask decors for CAT & CBT phases, then CBTS of each campaigns that were made etc.
a double edge sword.
at least, imo.
it would just become like the segregrated own sections of language. " we would like french section " and then " but no. there’s alot of chinese/japanese/italians too. therefore we “deserve” or own lenguage section " and down the spiral we go.

other than that c’mon, do you think it would really create a situation where forum goes absolutely dogshit with that change being implemented? 
CBT has their own awards inside forum profiles, of course they could have their name decors too, I don’t see any problem with that, name decors are at least what it seems to be easy to produce.
i can tell you it hasn’t quited improved with all the bitching going on.
or " NOOO YOU KILLED ME WITH X AND Y MUST BE NERFED ".
etc.
ad not to gate keeping, but opening the gates ( forgive the games of words ) not sure would be a good idea.
at the same time, decors would just be speedrunned just to get something unique, and would lose the value of it’s uniqueness.
at least. once again, imo.
so this would be devs responsibility to make this hard to abuse, for example instead of X topics created they could do X time spent on forum, so you can’t just spam few meaningless topics and have to actually be here reading stuff.
I understand that you may see some issues along with that but imo if we will make things carefully everything will be just fine

the rules should be set this way to avoid spamming to get the name decor, of course some would get name decor this way anyway but it should be rare case

Of all of them, I crossed off the ones that seem to be the easiest to game. I know hearts received can somewhat but it is honestly really easy to track on their profile.
So perhaps some combination of days visited and hearts received? Idk, whatever customization is good for me. Altho I probably wont ever change out my alpha tag lol
