Since Beta, the Nagant Revolver has been used as a single action revolver. This is a problem as opposed to how it is a double action revolver(Which means that you don’t have to cock the hammer at all). The more I don’t see this issue fixed, the angrier I become.
They are correct. There’s more than one version of the Nagant revolver, and it used either single action or double action mechanism. We seem to have the single action one. (Needs a damage buff badly to compensate)
Yet during ww2, the red army only used the double action.
The single actions stopped being produced in 1918, with most of the remaining ones being converted to double action later on, and if there were any left in service by then, they’d already be replaced by the TT pistols.
I know. I just pointed out it existed, and in Moscow it wouldn’t be that unusual to see outdated equipment as they literally threw all they had to stop the German offensive. It’s less weird than Berlin’s Fedorov
I only wish it did a bit more damage…
Yet it still makes no sense.
Sure, someone could’ve used a single action, but the standard pattern in ww2 was a double. There were likely at least 1000x more doubles than singles there.
So it makes no sense to have it be a single.
All I want is a double action Nagant with maybe a little bit more damage. 5.5 seems rougly where it should be (can’t remeber what it has now off the top of my head).
I especially need this cause I have like 20 of them left over from the random weapon pull.
Single Action just ruins thrill of shooting a double action revolver
i know that yhe double action was the most used in the war, but there were also single action nagants (and there was even one with swing out cylinder, wich would be very useful even if it wasn’t much used by the military)
