My Wish List For QA#2 About Editor

First, Thanks to the dev team who added useful features like navmesh baking and vromfs to the editor in the last update.

I think some new features will be added to the editor in the next update. What features do you want most as a mod author?

It’s been a while since QA#1 was released, wonder if there would be QA#2, or if the next dev news will be about new editor features?

Eagerly awaiting news from the development team.

My Wish List#1

  • Allows players to cancel the friendlydamge auto kick system in custom mods

  • Allow modeditor able to select a specific game mode UI, which is now automatically selected, is very unstable and difficult to understand

  • Let the custom room players know each teamate’s specific location on the minimap, currently only some blue teardrops can be seen, and more abundant minimap icons are needed. This is mainly to improve the game experience of large maps and facilitate communication between players

  • Enable More players in custom room, need 15v15 for squad mode and 50v50 for LF

  • Allows custom mode to gain a certain amount of experience and awards, many players do not play because custom mode cannot gain experience

  • Allow mod scene overwrite some default templates in the game, which allows players to create more variants based on the game’s content

    • create custom performance patches for default weapons.
    • define customlized templates
  • Allow players to import WWII vehicle models from War Thunder, which will greatly enrich the content of Enlisted. Given that War Thunder’s battles have gradually become modern warfare, the background of World War II and infantry combat will become the highlight of enlisted.

    • It is best to add spawn score system like Warthunder
  • Please at least bring the large map of CRSED to enlisted as soon as possible, it will be better to bring more other rich CRSED features in future.

if you allow me, i’d like to add a few of mines

i’d like if the editor would have:

  • Texture Sprayer for map terrain level
    Add texture Sprayer in the tools For the editor - concept idea
    mostly usefull to replace a type of ground when we create maps from scratch

  • Road Spline editor
    to create new roads

  • Add Grass & Forest Tool
    being able to decide which grass and trees we can lay down with a tool instead of creating 1500+ reindsts

  • add missing objects ( such as the zis_5 ( and zis truck series as a whole ), battleships, and other missing objects ) in the reininsts tool.

  • Reindinst immortal
    self explanatory

  • Reindinst that can be attached and positioned on vehicles
    mostly usefull for adding objects ( that can be decor on tanks, or for example, boxes on vehicles )

( then, the lower priority for me )

  • Allow modders to being able to fully customize customize_benchmark_char by being able to decide their clothes, give them weapons and if possible, being able to make them move and start specific animations in specific locations ( mostly for machinemas and cool intros )

  • give ability to change cars, boats and trucks colors
    ( we have the code, but currently no way to apply them as replace obj texture do not works on vehicles that are not in the tank category or motorcycles )
