I do like the game but like every early access game there is much to be done here is a simple likes, dislikes and suggestions.
Pros:
-The dynamic of controlling and switching through squad members.
Character and squad progression/ modification
-Theaters of War to choose and factions
Cons
-Squad AI is not very good
Not a lot of commands for squad , need to make a more intricate command menu
-Communication (lack of)
-Team organization (lack of)
-Games are too fast
Maps are too small
Puma is OP
Not being able to disband units and repurpose all their soldiers
Single Soldier mode favors the defenders too heavily
Weird weapons for the US (Ross, Peterson, Lee Enfield)
By enlarging the map it will make AA more useful and make the games more dynamic. More intelligent AI with more intricate commands also makes for a better time, running up a hill and realizing all your guys died almost immediately is a drag. I feel like I am playing a single player game more than a multi-player game because the lack of communication which can be solved with a functional voice chat (idk if I need a radio guy or something but I can’t get it to work). I would love to see the Campaigns expanded having a campaign map and work in a linear fashion with the outcome determining the next map much like Rising Storm 2. Looking forward to the future. I don’t want this to end up like Heroes and Generals which wasted its potential.
Hey, welcome to the community. I’ve played this game for a while and will try to help out any way I can.
Yes, the devs know this. The CB testers gave them a headache about this (and weather). Both of these things are being added as the game progresses.
also true, the speed of the puma makes it basically impossible to kill if you toss a grenade. I would recommend cooking the grenade and timing it so that the puma driver will have almost no time to react (grenade fuse is 5 seconds so predict how long it’ll take for the grenade to fly and hit the target).
There are streams done regularly on the official Enlisted youtube channel, and the hosts regularly give hints/ explanations about what’s going on in the game’s development. In one of these streams, they explain that the reason why the Americans (and other armies as well) received such weird/not historically accurate weapons is simply for testing purposes.
so I’ve heard. I mostly play Moscow so I don’t come up against any pumas. What I do come up against is the Panzer 2 which is another overpowered German tank (that they, of course, get as their starter tank). It was a broken damage model so anti-tank guns and explosive charges don’t work. It’s hard to pen it with the T-60 (Russian starter tank) and even if you do pen it, your projectiles seem to just go into a black hole and not damage anything. Meanwhile, the Panzer 2 can pen anything like its paper. Just seems like germans have all the broken tanks
