I dont like seeing people run around with them and only use them, no other guns just 3 - 9 man FG42 or AVS squad. Wheres the fun in that?

In fact i myself enjoy the FG42 or AVS but you wont see them often in mys squads. Youll mostly see BAs and Semis + sometimes an SF

We had this convo a few days back with some guys and they had the same take with me on this issue. Both in Normandy and in Berlin i rarely see even one guy having AVTs and FG-42 I/IIs. In my team most if not all times i am the only one with those guns. I dont know how people seeing those guns so often. Like am i playing a different game or something :neutral_face:

Maybe we play in different servers, different times of the day.

There will always be more players if you play in the closing hours of the day like 20:00 - 23:00, since most people will be done with work, homework, chores and etc.

Thats when i notice people with these guns come out often.

Most time i play a few hours between 15:00 and 02:00, depending the day. EU :thinking:

It’s a problem, but it isn’t due to the firearm. A thread with very good ideas has been created to suggest solutions to the issues:

Automatic rifles have nothing to do with rabbit retards or cod kids. But making movements having inertia, making shooting and jumping useless… Even Automatic rifles would be bearable. Think about it: everyone would become easier targets… for the bolt actions. No more Parkinson strafing, kangaroos jumping, dolphin diving!

Are they a problem? Not sure.

I see them as often as a premium squad against me. And I do play both sides on all campaigns at any given time.

It’s the same as bunny hopping.
Some one see another jumping once, "omg bunny hopper please nerf wtfbbq

Either you guys are constantly queued on the wrong servers at the wrong time, or I m the lucky one that I don’t see it at all.

don’t think this will be a good idea without changing how defense works on invasion/assault since a 9 man trooper squad is good for holding a point and defenders can human wave with it.

So i think that the automatic weapons should go to the two classes that specialize in automatic weapons; AVS, AVT, FG42s would be gunner weapons and have 100 total rounds (15/85 for russians and 20/80 for FGs) but to set Auto rifles apart from LMGs they shouldn’t get the firing on the move debuff that LMGs get and the Volksgewehr should be a trooper weapon as well. M2c is already treated as an SMG in game so moving it to assaulters wouldn’t effect too much outside of making my dream of a line up of pure carbines possible

Well…

I do believe defenders side should also be subject to tickets reinforcements. So… I’d change that first before restricting a weapon that is fun to use.

i also kind of want a fleet of pure carbines for allied normandy and restricting them to troopers instead of assaulters gunners is for the other automatic rifles with different game behaviors than LMGs while having LMG ammo count will prevent that and not having a sniper carbine already hurts me deeply =/

that is called m3 carbine and it had IR night sights however there was an m1 carbine that was equipped with a scope and that should be the next gold order weapon
