Yeah it would be so much more interesting if we could use only the same bolt action and semi-autos guns in all 4 campaigns, such a great idea

I dont want them removed, i used them often. And sometimes i still equip them.
But they are broken, they make people not want to use other guns, because a gun that has full auto, has no recoil, 1 shots and can be equipped by everyone is broken.
I dont mind having them, maybe 1 or 2 per squad is fine by me, but when i come up against a guy with 9 man squads with them bunnyhopping, spamming explo packs i just start to not enjoy the game.
I am seriously looking into HLL currently. When a free weekend comes i might even jump ship. Just whats holding me is the 70⏠i spent on the game, and i still GENUINELY like it. A few days ago had a match where i was playing against high lvl players who mostly used bolts and SMGs. And it reminded me of the good old days

Annnnd in a game where TTK is really low, and that gun 1 shots and has an insane ROF, can be equipped by annyone and kills an entire squad in a few sec
First of all after you get the StG the FG-42 becomes irrelevant. Same with Ppsh-41 which in Berlin is most situations is better than the AVT. What is next? remove StG etc cause you dont like them? 
Different campaigns need different weapons otherwise there is no point to even play them. It is simple game design. Belin is in 1945 so ofc having the strongest guns in game make sense. Imagine having only G-43 and SVT-40s and Garants in all campaigns as best infantry weapons. Like jesus
It is a totally different game, in the end Enlisted might not be for you

Grenade spam is indeed annoying⌠also agreed.
But what is broken⌠arenât the automatic rifles. The dev created this situation by reducing semis effectiveness (and realistic behavior). Those were perfectly fine before and allowed many to compete vs auto rifles with ease. Heck, many chose them OVER auto rifles (I was one of them).
I wouldnât mind they restricted A LITTLE BIT. But they are fun to use and Iâm not too keen in reliving a H&G situation where all fun firearms got nerfed.
So Iâd either restore semis⌠or restrict autos to troopers only, max. (Would at least make troopers useful). But radiomen? Thatâs illogical.
By 1945 i doubt many FG42s survived since they made less than 2k while STG is 500k + -
Still i am excited for the STG in Berlin, my most waited gun. But if you think ill be running only them youre wrong. I wont forget the boys like my MP40, G43, K98k, MG42. Unlike most people do when they get an SF rifle
well if we go with historically accuracy lets remove the FG-42 and make StG an all class weapon as it was meant to be 
Restrict them, and its a done deal. Game will become a lot more fun when neither you nor your enemy wont just look at you and your 7 man squad is sleeping
