Since I have six of the Soviet Yazikov smg pistols and love them, I had built a squad around them. Yeah, the 15 round magazine kind of sucks, which makes it a three burst and reload weapon, but it kills fast at close to medium range, and if I am defending and can build an ammo box, I can fight all day with them. Each soldier carries three explosion packs. I just wish the Soviets and Germans had a shotgun that could hold more then two rounds, like the browning five the Allies and Japanese have. Anyway, last night I had 117 kills in a game, and the vast majority of them came from the little Yazikov. This squad is the only low level Squad that wears body armor. I hate the looks of the armor. I had been using one assaulter, but recently replaced him with another engineer. I use them in both level one and level two.

Currently it’s the only lower level squad that sports the body armor, but I haven’t got enough appearance change orders to change it. 
Almost every other squad, short of BR5 wears this.

This is what they came with if I remember correct, and I hate the Pajama Camo, as it just looks like child sleepwear IMOP. I had tons of unused body armor left over, so, that’s what the ended up with. But I like the all green look the best.

My Dalek squad
Since I have three of the Dalek gunstick’s and love them, I had built a squad around them. Yeah, the manipulator arm kind of sucks.
Just a question, why do you go for the Soviet Shotgun and not the Mosin for BRI , or the Winchesters for BR II ?
I am partially blind in my left eye so i am not good at quick aiming with a rifle, so I prefer either semi auto’s or shotguns.

I got the Yazikov’s when the BP store was open. I was hesitant, bought one and tried it in a game and immediately loved it, so, investing in the other five was a no brainer. Now, I have two Allied Swartz 1911 smg pistols and they are great. I like the Yazikov better, but the Swartz shoots 18 rounds as opposed to the 15 the Yazikov shoots. I only have two though, and I have two snipers I give them to since the Swartz is better then the sniper rifle in close quarters combat. I need the other four though. I wouldn’t probably base a squad around them like I did with the Yazikov, and the Yazikov only have a grand total of 45 rounds sucks if you don’t have time to build an ammo crate. Three quick bursts and the gun is empty, and two reloads is all you get with no ammo crate. So, if you can discipline yourself to quick controlled bursts, you can get about nine total shots then your spent.
