My sound mod isn't working. What can I try?

So I’ve been on Enlisted for about six months now and only recently discovered sound mods. I downloaded one and follow Bigote’s guide on how to install it. It worked beautifully up until recently when I decided to try out a new mod. Now I can’t get the mods to work. I’ve checked my enlisted.config.blk file and made sure I have the latest versions of the mod. I’ve even tried different ones to see if it was the mod that was the problem. Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

Do you have 2 sound mods at the same time if yes that the issue

Nope, just one. I’ll double-check again though to make sure.

So I checked and I only have one. However, it occured to me that I have downloaded several mods for custom matches and such, and I know several have custom sounds; could it be that one of those is preventing the sound mod from working?

Delete the enable mod command on enlisted config blk

Start the game, the game had no sound mod

Close the game

Paste the command again and may mods can work

That didn’t work, sadly. I also tried removing the custom match mods I’ve downloaded, but that didn’t help either. Thoughts?

delete sound mod folder

make another one and try it

That didn’'t help either. I even deleted the mod and the line of code in the config file and did it like I was downloading a sound mod for the first time; didn’t make a lick of difference.

I would suggest deleting the config blk file; that would also remove your graphics and game settings, like harmonization, etc.

How can I get the file back? Does it automatically do that?

Well, I tried that, aaand it didn’t work. Again. :weary:

Any other ideas? Should I maybe try another sound mod?

Also. I figured it might be helpful to post the mod I’m using:

Well, classic example of me being not very bright

It turns out that, in all my reconfiguration and stuff, I didn’t put the mod folder back into the sound folder. On a whim, I went back to Bigote’s tutorial and realized my error right away. I tried the rror, and it worked. @Bigote0070 , thanks for all your help (even though it was totally my fault that I had a problem )
