Hello so I think everyone knows the Tunisian campaign currently has some issue however i will attempt to put forward some suggestions below on how to improve it.
Move the engineer squad to level 4
Okay so this is probably one of the most important things on all of the other campaigns the engineers are on level 3. They need to be available as early as possible as they are the most useful squad to both the individual player and the rest of the team.
Move the radio operator squad to level 9 and the engineer squad too level 4.
Weapons and equipment changes for axis
Personally I was disappointed with the amount of unique Italian weapons on the axis side.
Kar98k = Replace with the Mannlicher M1895 ?
Level 2 - MP28 = replace with the Berretta m1918 - (MP28 is rather horrible)
Level 7 - PzB-38 = replace with the fucile controcarro 35(P) - (yes its not in the game currently however would love to see it added)
Level 14 - MP40 = replace with the Berretta M38/42 - (move from level 26)
Level 19 - ZB-26 = replace with the FM 24/29 - (again this is not in game would be nice for it to be added)
Level 26 - Berretta M38/42 = Replace with the Berretta M38 (40 rounds)
Weapons and equipment changes for allies
M1903 Springfield = Replace with the Pattern 1914 Enfield - (surprised it wasn’t in the Tunisian campaign as a starter rifle to begin with)
M1903A1 (scoped) = Replace with Pattern M1914 scoped - (Scoped variant not in game)
Level 15 Springfield M1903A4 = Replace with the Pattern 1917 Enfield scoped - (Scoped variant not in game)
These are just my suggestions on how i would go about improving the campaign i know that a few of the things I’ve suggested adding are not in game however surely it would be possible to add them.
There may of been some things ive forgotten to add.
What do all of you think would be good ways to make the Tunisian campaign better ? ^.^
I’m annoyed that the Panzer 3 is in the tanker 2 squad for the axis. The tank destroyer may have a number of weaknesses, but its still a lot better at flattening tanks, and I would like to have the option to bring both it and and the Panzer 3, the way moscow allies gets to have both a t-50 for general purpose and a t-28 for dedicated anti infantry.
in my humble opinion what ruined the campaign was the lazily forcing Americans and Germans into a context they don’t belong to, as always ctrl-c ctrl-v was too strong
Also, the flammethrower and mortar should be italian one. The Brixia M35 instead of granatwerfer 36, lanciafiamme modello 35 instead of flammenwerfer 35. The famous M35 “red devil” grenade should replace the m24 stielhandgranate.
The two man operation is no problem for Enlisted, most LMGs were operated by teams of two (gunner & loader) but you don’t see that in the game.
The real issue is the second point you made. Weight. There is no logical weight system in Enlisted (yet). The weight of your gun has no effect on you when it’s not in your hands. That’s an obvious oversight 'cause, duh, you’re still carrying it.
the Italians and the British fought two years in Africa they have their weapons, troops, vehicles they do not need German and American fillers to lengthen the grinding purge the latter and make the campaign only Great Britain VS Kingdom of Italy would be the best thing to do
I’d change couple of things, mainly for historical accuracy (which I’m in endless pursuit of):
I’d leave the MP 40 where it is and put the Berretta M38/42 in place of the Beretta M1. For two reasons: one - the Beretta M1 was an experimental weapon, and two - there need to be some German weapons since there are German squads and I don’t really want to run my Bomber II squad with an assaulter armed with the Beretta (and also, the CBT premium squad exists, and these guys are Germans).
@44854715 It’s called Tromboncino M28, and it would indeed be a nice idea to have it instead of the Kar98k with the Schießbecher.
The thing that irritates me the most - why Italian vehicle squads get the Fw 190 and the Pz. III (including the battle pass one with German markings)?
I already have a great idea for the next Tunisia battle pass weapon - 60mm Lanciabombe Contracarro. It was an anti tank grenade launcher, kinda similar to the Soviet RMN-50 in overall layout, but obviously using HEAT grenades. Here’s probably the best article about it that you can find: 60mm Lanciabombe - Tanks Encylopedia.
And the last thing is to make it so that when you get a soldier from silver orders he could be either Italian or German (in case of the Allies it doesn’t really matter that much since the language is the same, but I think there’s an issue with the equipment swap system between British and US soldiers). It would just be a nice touch.
Ahhh now we have reached the reason for the majority of things in the game; increase the grind. Its 100% the goal to make the campaign go on longer to sell more premium
