My one major post on the "Fronts System"

So, I’ve made a lot of responses on a lot of the front system posts explaining what I personally agree and disagree with and thought it would be exponentially better just to put it in my own thread everything that I had on mind about the suggestion in hopes of it becoming a reality.

Fronts:
Right now we have four campaigns. I believes these campaigns should be consolidated into the four following fronts to make things simple:

Moscow - Eastern Front 1941-1943
Normandy - Western Front 1944-1945
Berlin - Eastern Front 1944-1945
Tunisia - North Africa

Here’s my reasonings for the time span for the two Eastern Front settings: Moscow is an Early Eastern Front scenario that should include all battles from the start of Operation Barbarossa Up until the Soviet counter-offensive breaks into enemy/enemy-occupied lands. This of course would allow any Late Eastern Front battles to occur which allows the addition of the Romanians, Bulgarians, Hungarians, etc. I think the other two fronts I mentioned for Normandy and Tunisia are self-explanatory.

Additional Front Suggestions:
The Front based system could allow for an easy addition of various different fronts or theatres for example:

Invasion of Poland 1939 - Soviets and German perspectives vs Polish forces
Western Front 1940 - The German invasions of the Low Countries and France (addition of Belgian, Dutch, Luxembourger, and French units)
Italian Front - Starting with Operation Husky all the way to the defeat of Italy
Scandinavian Front 1939-1940 - Operation Weserübung and the Winter War
Scandinavian Front 1944 - Lapland War

and so on and so forth, pretty sure you guys get the idea of additional campaigns even though my examples were just for Europe alone and doesn’t cover the Middle East, the Pacific (India, Indochina, China, Japan, etc.), or further south in Africa.

Tree/Progression Changes:
I believe with the change of how campaigns would be represented, the leveling system/campaign system would have to be edited to fit this new way of playing. I don’t have as much as a concrete idea on this as this is something that just came to mind while writing this, so I’m open to suggestions or opinions on this (I’ll edit this if I see any I personally like).

I think that with this new system, there should be “Nation Trees” so using the “Eastern Front 1941-1943” as an example, there would obviously be a Soviet and a German line of unlocks like there are now. Any additional nations that could appear in this front will get their own designated tree. This will help in current campaigns like Normandy and Tunisia which have multiple nations taking ups spaces in the same tree. Within these Nation Trees, they should split up into branches for unlocks. A weapons branch, a squads branch, and a vehicles branch. The addition of new categories of weapons, squads, or vehicles may end up branching those two off further, however I don’t see the necessity of it. This will aid with the addition of later war items that would be further down the lists, however to ensure they stay in campaigns that they appeared in, there should be a lock on equipment and squads to be used where they actually occurred. Currently the MKb 42 should not be in Moscow, the earliest known account of its use was in April 1942 when prototypes were parachuted into the Kholm Pocket as resupply during Leningrad. This was 3 months after the end of Moscow. I believe that it should be removed from Moscow and put in subsequent battles where they occurred in. This applies to all weapons and vehicles that might have issues of being properly represented throughout all fronts.

I apologize in advance if it’s hard to read, I’ll try to make it more digestible when I can.
