Its WT top tier all fucking over again… And yeah I get it, technically it can still happen now, but if new players are getting a full squad worths of guns at BR5, ofc they are going to use those. Its only exacerbating the issue.
Thinking a bit more I mean technically IN THEORY it will be okay… maybe… technically it shouldnt be worse than the issue is already.

Right now, the players can choose the faction and BR guns they want.
Many will choose BR 5 even if they are 2.
Some will choose BR 2, etc.
These guns are all BR 3+, so whoever gets them they will be very likely in high BR.
Of course, if you dont play the faction you might also just take them for a spin a few times. Which means that you start with a reserve level line up + those BR 3-5 guns which makes you ultra useless.
The only option to stop them would be for the game itself, seeing the level of how the faction you are playing has researched, to show you a message warning you that you are entering a BR much higher than the one you have researched and recommend you not to do it, we all know that they will not pay attention and you will see a novice player with equipment of BR 1 or BR 2 maximum but a soldier from his squads with a weapon of BR 4 or higher and he will cry and the rest of the team will suffer the consequences
