My Headset left speaker "explode" when I playing Enlisted. My left ears get a slight hearing loss now

This is my headset:

clog here:

Around 2021.1.27 21:24, I was playing Enlisted, using a PZ3E, I suddenly heard a loud explode possibly next to my left ear. My parents from other rooms also heard it too. And then I get a temporary hearing loss. Then I turned off the whole PC and checked my ears.
Later I checked my PC and my headset, and tested it again, independently . My PC’s speaker IO hole is working normal, and my headset is normal too.
No any burnt smell from the headset.
Until now, I still get a slight uncomfort and a slight more background noise from my left ears.
This Logitech headset is only 1.5 years old, and works fine though its outside is worn out badly.
I decided to make a RMA of this headset and also post this stuff here.
It may be some explosion inside this headset speaker, though no burnt smell and it worked fine. Also it can be a software or driver side failure cause speaker to “boom”.
Because I was so scared at that moment, I did not save anything else, like shadowplay. And turned off the whole PC as soon as I can. The only possible thing recorded this stuff is the game’s clog. (Also I went through Windows’ event viewer, nothing weird was found)
So here, I provide the clog for developer to analyse this for the possible of anything went wrong in gameside.

Why no ear covers?

Hope your ear feels better, tinnitus is no fun.

Also, now, Im going to continue using this headset to play Enlisted but without wearing it on my head. I will put it on my desk, with 100 volume (previous was 24). To see if anything went wrong.

It’s just worn out… I just bought a new one, but not use it yet…

Enlisted sound design slaps. Hasn’t blown up my Steelseries 7X yet.

Ah kk, I thought you might have just ripped them off for whatever reason.

Post your new ones!
These are my chinese generics

This is my second pair of them because my first one got ruined by the cable getting stepped on one too many times back in 2017. Past that the 901s first and current pair have worked flawlessly for years since 2013.

I had something from that company before but wasn’t a fan of it apart from the price.
Steelseries is fantastic though.
Even if you buy a wired headset, cables are easily replaceable and they sell them cheaper on their website than you can find knockoff replacements for.

I bought that logitech with 120RMB(17USD) just because they are light (wont make me too hot in summer) and soundproof is poor so that I can hear outsides’ world. (For playing games while hiding from my parents…) So I chose this cheap stuff…

Yeah the 901s are the only one I can genuinely recommend from Sades. I had their Spirit Wolf headset and I lightly and I can not stress this enough LIGHTLY tapped on one side and it blew out the driver so only one speaker functioned anymore. Turns out that’s a common issue with the Spirit Wolfs.

I’d get Steelseries as well, but I’m poor((

I’m not going to resolder a cable or a new driver for a $20 headset though, if it’s something more expensive I’d be willing to do it though.

I’m saying that’s a steelseries wired headset feature. All of the wires can just be unplugged and replaced for like $8 if they get damaged

My bad, I misunderstood you. That’s a really nice feature to have actually. I’m sad more brands don’t do it.
I had some guy jump on me in Discord for just replacing it when it happened and I thought it was a repeat of that, sorry.
