enlisted and competitive in same sentence
If it is not a competitive game then there will not be situation like OP said LOL.
broad definition for competitive is game where one wins and other loses. so any multiplayer game can be seen as competitive. but no enlisted is not competitive in any modern game sense. competitive games require at least some balance.
- it doesnt have weapon balance. you can get matched against bolties and stuarts or vs stg44 and tigers
- f2p and premium are not balanced. one has limited loadout it can output, while other can take 10 squads.
- there is no MM. you can be matched against skilled veteran, or against absolute noob.
- there are bots in game.
- there is player imbalance per teams
- you can play against premade team of 3 stacks of 4 players vs random players and bots
- you can be matched against console players that have severe disadvantage in fps
i could probably list couple of more points why this is not competitive. enlisted is pure casual zerg rush fps. there is nothing competitive in it unless you are counting win/loss as competition. but competitive game is not just about win/loss.

I know quite many players that play tennis casually regardless theres often winner and loser.
Well I dont recall a single tennis match where only opposite team would have had tennis rackets

i have not seen many people playing this game for winning. if that was true then normandy allies or any other undermanned faction would not see any players. just having bots in team is already disqualifying reason for competitive game.
source are actual esports games. any esport game that has been out in last 20 years is balanced in one way or another. CSGO (along with 1.6 and source), Valorant, DOTA 2, LoL, Smash, Overwatch 1 and 2, COD (no matter how trash it is), starcraft 1&2, rocket league, pubg, trackmania. those are all examples of competitive games and they all have balance.

The situation of OP is competitive situation. I already said this game has the āPVEā side.
If there is no such situation, OP will not be posting this. Then there will be no point of discussing this.

just cause some players play meta for advantage and to win doesnt mean that game is competitive. if you play singleplayer to win, doesnt mean that game is competitive alsoā¦

also name me one sport/esport where number of players per team is different and where you have vast difference in equipment. also name me one sport/esport where you can get AI/robot/dog instead of human and that it is competitive.
