This event was terrible. I’m just going to get that out now. This event, so you get the unique squads, needs you to be a nolifer and play for 3+ hours a day during Christmas and new years, and many people travel during this time, and I traveled to another state for a week, and that week I was gone almost made me lose getting the Russian squad.the squads are fine, but the requirements to get them is obsurd.in order to get the squad for the Russians, I had to pay quite a bit of gold yesterday to obtain it, and now I can’t afford the next battle pass because of it.the tast are unnecessarily long and annoying, the rally point task ensured all your teammates were fighting for the most rally point uses, and leaving use with very few. The 10 battles task is easily the worst, every match is usually around 30 minutes, and 10 matches, even 5 every day, is just unrealistic, I only have about an hour or so I can play each day after I get home due to work I have to finish and whatnot, and so do many other people. This event was easily the most anti player event in the game.make these easier and not as long, especially during holidays
Five games a day, with an average of 20 minutes per game, is almost equivalent to spending two hours on this game every day and nust not being absent.
Two hours is almost all of a person’s golden free time in one day, If developers continue to design such slave activities, I won’t spend any more time on them. Anyway, these rewards won’t affect my normal gameplay.
Yes,these squads are fun to play every now and then, but are more a liability than anything because they don’t have any AT gunners or radio operators, and not enough soldiers in general, and the amount of time you had to spend to get them just isn’t proportional.
This event was a crap. Excessive tasks + crap rewards.
I played these new squads (Horn StG + AT-44) for a while and then throw them away.
You grind for what is likely over a day of playtime just to get some crappy squads that can’t do what normal squads can get and with worse weapons attached to them.
as someone who actually completed the event ( weird flex, but okey )
0/10 would not reccomend for normal people.
p.s. luftwaffe units were a must unfortunately.
as well as the gold order for me too.
but… i have been sick and haven’t really saw my family because of various illness that they got and what not.
Despite this event being a so called “challenge”.
The rewards did not live up to the difficulty of completing the event.
The challenge was having enough time to complete 10 battles.
Due to some game miracle, I got no conquests matches during the event despite using up all of my boosters from BP, but now that the event is over I only get conquest, strange isn’t it?
Same, never in my life I regretted completing an Enlisted event before.
While the event was yet again grindy, very least they could make the first squad selectable.
Could choose between either one in this case germut or sovjet.
Its absolutely ridiculous that one squad is by far easier to obtain than the other, which is the reason why I never got the germut paras but got the sovjets.
This event burned me so much that after taking the Russian squad I haven’t touched enlisted since then and I will only get involved when another event arrives (or if I have to play the two games to be able to write in the forum) and I would have preferred more originality in the rewards like an Italian or English squad (especially after these two factions have practically disappeared with the merge) instead of the usual Germany/Russia
I would also add that events with specific objectives ruin the freedom of play that scored events offered
I agree. I made a post a week after the event was released and I made the SAME complaints. I work 2 full time jobs and I have very little time to play. To have to grind out multiple games in order to even get remotely close to one of the event unlocks felt impossible. Let alone, every two day, the challenges reset.
I gave up on the fantasy event because I was more focused on the battle-pass that I PAID FOR because the challenges can be completed at will. I felt punished for working during the holidays because I don’t get multiple days off for the holidays etc. i play about 1 hour every other day if possible and it gets very tiresome when I feel that I have to “clock in” to a game and I have to “work a few hours” just to beat some challenges that give me fractional numbers until I can get 1 event item.
1/10 until the ? card unlock. Absolutely insane. It’s unplayable, and those who completed all of the challenges and received every item, congratulations, I’m impressed that those players could do that, I wish I could, I’d rather have a game that makes me feel appreciated for playing during the holidays rather than punished. I also doubt that a lot of people complete the events with organic game play. I believe that a lot of people use gold (no hate on it) to unlock the event items.
All of the events play the same exact way. “Beat these 10 challenges, 10 times and you unlock 1 item in the event.” While there are like 10 times to unlock. There isn’t enough time in the day, let alone the WEEK to even play 10-20 matches a day. If someone is playing that much, they are unemployed or they lie about how much they work.
It’s unfair and for a game that is always catering to. “Fairness” and “equality” I find it very upsetting that the first thing they could have done to correct this was to listen to our voices about this, it instead I’m told I need to just “get good” and “use gold”. I could spend $1000 on this game and still not have unlocked everything. Absurd. Enlisted as a business model looks good on paper and in concept. In actuality it falls short of its projections and quotas. IMO this is all my personal feelings and what I think. What I think matters because I have been playing enlisted prior to the merge, and the merge has tossed a forbidden salad per say and now I have to restart the entire tech tree to unlock something I was 200 XP away from in the campaign.
I empathize and agree with your assessment and statements 110%.
I SAID THE SAME THING! haha. It’s definitely a thing, there is no conspiracy, the frequency of this type of thing happening proves more for our argument than against.
