My big problems with enlisted right now

I have read everything above. Multiple times. You said:

And when people called you out for it you said:

But literally no one attacked you. Theres no personal posts that are calling you a liar or that the dynamic lighting isn’t a thing. Just people agreeing with your opinion or saying they don’t have a problem with the lighting. When people said they didn’t have a problem with it, YOU were the one to do personal attacks and call them “Liars” or that they “Must not play the game much”.

I really don’t need to say more. Everyone can read the discussion and see what was said.

It is very sad that you feel that way.

To sum it up for you again:
Everything I explained is that you can’t attack the premise of what I was critizising.
I never called anyone in particular a liar, it was more of a comment against the notion that: everything is fine it must be you, implication.
If you like it or not is your own thing, and I never spoke on someone elses behalf but my own, but saying that the lighting works perfectly fine and trying to derail it into bad monitor/game settings and start to project entitlement on me, was quite bad faith.

It brings hostility into the discussion that goes on perfectly fine in discord and on reddit, and now everyone here tries to make it personal or “expose” someone.

This is all I wanted to point out.
What you think of it is subjective, how it works is objective.

Alot of people like how the lighting works, and that’s fine.
It’s just that alot of ppl in the enlisted community derail the conversation into absolute untruth, which I tried to kind of prevent with the post.
Had similar posts in my topics about “Biplanes are tankkillers, Rockets are for Air to Air combat, Molotovs can kills tanks” memecomments and so on.

It was just meant to set the ground clear, that if you haven’t put much attention to the lighting and how it interacts with the camera view, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.
I explain how it works and what bothers me with it, what drove me away personally.

Overall all I just said is:
Cause lighting is dynamic, contrast is dynamic.
Sometimes cause of this, contrast too low.

Can we please go back to the topic now?

Thanks for trolling my thread guys… I really appreciate that…

It’s not crippling but gives advantage to those who are inside of the building, just how it’s suppose to be. For all these years, games did it in exactly backwards fashion where safest place is outside of the building as poking into window makes a better contrast and makes you more visible. This game finally does it correctly, you should be praising devs for it, not complaining.

People in buildings have the peak advantage and coveradvantage naturally.

What lighting does is that it makes them merge with the interior background, cause of the low contrast when you are standing not directly behind the window frame, which gives them nearly invisibility from some perspectives.

Glad that you like it so far… It’s one of the things that drove me away from the game
Why exactly should I praise it?

That is your preference. I can only recommend BF5 if you haven’t played it yet. Dice (devs) build a great engine and can have a superb blending of the characters with environment, but they choose to do exactly the opposite - soldiers are always visible from any distance, behind the foliage, in the shadows, on purpose. Even tanks blend better than soldiers.

Lighting is fine for me, no idea what OP is talking about.

If it helps, i usually try to aim to get the explosive pack on top of the roadwheels or upper track. Granted, still doesnt do shit 50% of the time but seems to net more kills for me. If it is a Pz 4 H i just run away
