It honestly sucks, a stahlhelm + gm38 gas mask + trench coat is one of the coolest outfits in mu opinion
Helmet with goggles and gas mask seems like an overkill to me.
If he is a medic, why does he need those goggles anyway, is he a biker?

Saving lives is a dirty job, he has them on just incase enemy shelling strikes nearby and get dirt on his goggles, he can take them off without having to wipe clean his gas mask

Or just steal from a dead. Looting is very very very common in war
