Must give an urgent solution to this

It remains completely immovable.

It simply wasn’t going anywhere anymore and in the image you can clearly see that it has its tracks in position to be able to move.

Either he falls into the trench or he comes out but he should be able to do something, however he remains immobile.

And before you tell me the same thing as in the previous post with the tiger… NO, the tank is not damaged, the game had just started and due to how horrible the Pacific map is, it was the only combat location to get through.

We should be able with heavy vehicles to use cable to unstuck tank

I support the idea, but in this case it shouldn’t count as “stuck”

Stuck is a large term but we could define it by the ability of not getting able to move from a certain place

What’s the actual problem? Tanks getting stuck in ditches is NOT a problem - it is a small dose of reality in the game…

Dose of reality? Have you ever seen a tank in your life, even if it was on video?

the game has always had massive issues with tanks crossing trenches - however it has gotten much better recently, one year ago, even a much longer vehicle like a Panther would still always get stuck on those.

yea the one thats held on by the chain…

Yes - have you?

Do you have an answer for my question, or are you just wedded to a.h.?

ETA: Is it that the tank managed to get to that balanced position when it should have just nosedived in and been immobilised?

Panther trench crossing ability was only 8 ft (2.45m according to wiki) - that M2 is 14 ft long, so even a Panther should be stuck in a trench that wide.

And those wire ropes were really of minimal use for only 1 vehicle - for getting out of shallow ditches, mud, etc - not for pulling a tank any significant vertical distance - eg see this 1944 video for recovery, mostly self-recovery for bogging/thrown tracks rather than for falling into trenches.

Unditching a tank is at about 15:00 and takes 3 tanks to get 1 out of a ditch

In my country, there are still parades with American tanks from the Second World War as a commemoration.

As someone who served in the military, I have clearly seen them and although I was not in the armored company, the guys did let me ride in them.

Even if he had fallen on his back because he didn’t have enough length to have half a tank out, he would still have been able to move.

But I had to get out of the tank because I clearly couldn’t move even with more than 1 meter of firm track on the ground.

It wasn’t tilted either, so we can overcome engine power issues, and even if it fell it should theoretically be able to get out as long as it has the power and half a track holding something.

Now, even with all the technology available today, trenches have a standard size, but the one in the game is huge.(This is obviously for gameplay reasons, I won’t go into it.)

Now, both my previous post about the tiger getting stuck and this one should be able to move. (Regardless of whether it got stuck further or fell or not.)

Real, I always avoided trenches like fire.
Even if going around it took 5 minutes because you never got off it faster unless you gave up from frustration and left the tank.
Panther getting stuck on the trench is extra ironic since I managed to drive through a destroyed block of building in Berlin campaign with G series. Probably the only tank in game (and probably in reality too) capable of such feat.

Yes he should have been able to move if he was magically transported to that position - about 30cm before falling into the trench and being stuck.

But he should never have been able to get there is in the first place - it is an impossible location without a crane or helicopter - or someone building a trenche crossing then removing it after it had driven onto it!

Not really - here’s a link to stock images of WW2 trenches from Getty - some are thin, some are wide, depth also varies…

I cannot continue discussing the first one due to ignorance, as I said I did not belong to the armored group so beyond the experience shared with them and what I have seen I cannot say.(For me, I think that if it comes out in those conditions.)

As for the other thing, this is the largest trench there is between your images and I’m sure a Stuart passes through there, not far away of course but it comes out.

Mainly because tanks don’t fall right away, they advance up to half their size before falling.

I added this video that I found on YouTube, watch the video in the middle, this is how a tank is supposed to pass through a trench.

That’s war thunder by the way.

Sin título
As you can see, more than half of the tank is held in the air before it falls, and the same amount of space is left for the other side of the tank after it falls and hits the ground.

If you look closely, it’s the same amount of space that my Stuart had left.
