The ship is actually atrocious to take and really shouldn’t be the second point.

whole map is atrocious to take, specially with current player distribution… i havent seen this map past second point and only time i saw attackers win was when they had skilled stack

the ship has 6 entry points for the attackers, its super easy to take. i released a game playing weak americans attacking and easily capping the first 2 points, the last 3 points are the actually hard ones. but most teams are so weak that they constantly lose on the first 2 and wrongly assume they would be hard.

I never had problem with ship, but I really do dislike cave objective.
It’s basically Gaddafi Village v2 but even more cancerous.

Six entry points
All covered in mines and barbed wire
Defender rallies built on the ship itself
Have to put rallies nearly in the open as the attackers if you want them anywhere close

but im playing muricans.
so that means im always on the attack in invasion mode.
For me the new map is 3/10
- The first point is a simple version of quarry, the best strategy is take a Howitzer tank and keep spam HE on it
- the ship is univermag 2.0 wen defender build rallypoint on the cap and they keep come from the wall (withaut forget mine and barbared wire even on rock)
- the cave part is winned by the team who spam mine,phosphorus and flamethrowers
Scenically and artistically is a good map but is too much exploitable

The ship is fine, you can build a rally point inside the ship even.
The first objective is bad for the defenders though. Just pull up in an M8 Scott, and blast one round of HE into the big hut or underneath and get litetally 30 kills with the single shot. Very easy to keep the defenders off.
It’s fun to fight inside this ship.
I sometimes fantasize about a conquest mode with only one strategic point. This ship is definitely a good strategic point.
