Everytime I see somebody leaning in the middle of the field I imagine them thinking:
“Oh mY gOd IM So GoOd. RaMbo SieGe SkiLL. I cAn ShOOt LiKe GaNgStEr aNd I’M haRdeR to ShOOt bAck”
I hate them. Truly. But I don’t want to handicap people who use leaning like it’s suppose to be: Just to get a better and safer position while you are next to a corner.
i just think it should be changed to the point where it will be used for what you explained. and not to use it mid running, im thinking something like a whole body leaning so it wont just be the torso thats leaning, and it would essentially be more realistic
Leaning is fast bro . You just have to… well Lean.
I think the best way to stop people leaning for no reason, and at the same time not handicap too much people leaning because of a wall or a corner is to work on the recoil.
Right now, the recoil work like this: Vertical recoil: random up move everytime you shoot. Right Horizontal recoil: random right move everytime you shoot Left Horizontal recoil: random left move everytime you shoot
(I think the left recoil has been deleted in the last patch by the way, but let’s say it exist just to make a beautiful drawing)
The uncorrected aim will go to the up right corner.
If you shoot 30 bullet, your will be aiming at the end of the purple curve “Uncorrected Aim”.
The problem is, right now it the same result if you lean or don’t lean. You end at the same point. And it’s not logical.
Think about it, if you are upside down and you shoot. The recoil should follow your upside down position. It rotate with the gun.
With my suggestion, it will be both logical and also harder to use leaning. Because look at the trajectory, it’s always more difficult to correct horizontal recoil than vertical recoil.
i agree on this, especially on the part where you said how the recoil works while leaning, it needs to be changed.
right now while leaning your aim is laser accurate, i think it should be fixed with that small wiggle that you get when quickly turning your weapon, to simulate the weight of the weapon, and the soldier frantically correcting it, and if you shoot while correcting it, your accuracy would be terrible
