A while ago the mp18 received a rpm buff, but this buff has made the current in game version of the mp18 a substantially different gun compared to it’s real life counterpart.

As you can see Enlisted’s version of the mp18 has diverged quite a bit from it’s real life counterpart.
So I suggest:
•lower the mp18 rpm to 500
•lower the br of the mp18 to be a br1 weapon
Lowering it to BR I was what they should have done in the first place.
Agreed, even with the buff it still has strange unpredictable recoil. Not to mention that it’s only a 4 man squad. Even without a nerf it should be moved to BR 1.

They should have just dropped it and the MP18 squad to level one. IMOP it was never BR2 worthy, and if it were not for being able to change the ammo pouch to secondary weapon I would have never used it past the practice range. I would rather Gaijin just unlocked the weapons so I could just shit can the MP 18 and give them MP40’s, or give it an MP34 and drop it to level one where I could immediately use it. .
I’d prefer if all guns have their FACTUAL statistics
If the Dev’s had done this to begin with players would have less reason to complain about weapms, and no reason to keep asking for weapons buffs. The weapons would be what they were, so if they suck, complain to the weapons manufacturer. 
The MP18 is great where it is. You can switch the backpack for a second weapon slot and use as a small assault squad up into higher BRs.
You can add an engineer and an AT soldier to the squad so its more diverse then just 4 assaulters, and you can make them gold soldiers to get a 20% bonus on top of premium squad bonuses.
I use them at BRIII with the Suomi gold order SMGs as those have a 36 round magazine so they draw from a different ammo pool then the MP18. You can even use them at BRV with 4 Conders SMGs or 4 MP717 SMGs if you have them, or even just a few old STG44s.
The MP18 is good enough to make it a suitable SMG even at BRIII and as a backup SMG it works at BRIV and V as well. Also the engineers in the squad are super engineers that can make MG nests and anti tank guns and AA guns and aupumolet fire launchers.
So in short they are good where they are because they can be customized to still be viable at higher BRs and the MP18 is still kind of viable as a backup gun at mid to high BRs.
The MP 18 is pretty strong right now, but that’s not the point, the point is the mp18 in Enlisted is very different from it’s real life counterpart and because of that isn’t a very good representation of it.

Tbh if the stg was 500 rpm it’d make the mkb obsolete, besides if you want to play a 500 rpm stg the mkb can fill that role.

Yes I know, but I am just saying - every video I see on youtube you can hear that STGs shoot just slightly slower than MP40s.
