Movement and changing pose speed change

If game decreases soldier movement and pose speed like %20-30, will this make it game more tactical ?
Rush in mentality can be eradicated with less speed.

So a nerf from 50%? The perk is rather useless as is

Nerfing the movement speed won’t fix the issue. To make the game more tactical, you need to be able to effectively change the battlefield momentum. What does this mean?

Battlefield momentum is the attackers’ ability to push through defensive lines. Right now, most of the things that could potentially keep that line held are too easy to destroy, or not efficient enough to hold back attackers. Given the way the game is set up as most defensive points have to be taken care of at all times, and as a defender, you don’t get as much freedom to move about as attackers. On top of this, defenders don’t get to pick the locations it sends them to next, and unfortunately, many objectives are in absolutely terrible locations.

In current games, stop and look around the battlefield a little bit.
How many player-built fortifications are there?
How long do these hold up?
How much barbwire is being deployed in the area leading up to the objective (such as the fairly open fields)?
How many sandbags are being deployed cut down on paths that enemies can use?
How many landmines appear on the kill-feed?
How many MG nests are being utilized?

The answer to most of these will be pretty low. There is an entire element of defense missing in 9/10 games because most players have given up trying to use what isn’t as strong as it should be.
If they were, you would see a much larger change to battlefield momentum. On top of this, it’s not like it would be impossible to push through either! It would require perhaps a little more teamwork, and a bit of a change of equipment so its not just assaulter squads with frag grenades, but it would still be possible. It would make for a much more satisfying experience on both sides.
