there are no other AT rifles above br1 or held back by bipod requirements, anti-tank rifles are already impractical enough without these limitations
if it was BR1, it would become a valuable weapon similar to the hino rifle is at BR3 japan, have fun trying to use the solothurn if the game uptiers you to BR3 and you’re left wishing you had a projectile launcher instead
without the bipod/prone requirements, it can be more convenient at higher BRs for shooting at enemy APCs or planes
They tried the whole slowing the game down thing before (Heavy weapons stamina in Stalingrad).
Since then everything has just been making the game faster and faster, more mobile and more run and gun.
Bipod/prone is not kind in that environment (plus bi-pods have always been, and still are janky as hell)
then add to that a higher BR rating than AT rifles should be in…its a double hit…it is just anti fun
Why the Anti Fun?
FYI I would tolerate the Bipod/prone requirement “AT BR 1” to temper its power if necessary
