I did not think that anyone on the Eng forum would see this, but yes, the KV-2 is a tank that can fire one shot, pray the HE actually detonates instead of getting stuck in a bush and then might as well just kill itself for all the use that it brigns in high tier. As for infanty support, anyone can just run up to it and kill it with literally BR1 AT weapons while it frantically tries to reload/turn its turret/press ctrl just to realize that the commander cant even use his personal weapons. Yes, it can one shot a KT, but otherwise its just not worth it.

That tank is so ass. It has hardly any pen and armour is as thin as paper. I would take ho-i any day over that thing

I agree, it should be BR 3 purely because of the reload speed. I’ve also had mixed experiences with penetration on the main gun.

His armor cannot withstand a 50MM long-barreled tank.

The KV usually does not kill with penetration per se, it detonates HE on vertical armour and then compresses the thinner top armour down to destroy a tank. Which, becasue of buggy HE and the reload, combined with armour, makes it kinda mid even for br 3 (t-34-57 can actually pen tigers, kv-1 can actually support infantry)
