Let’s be honest with ourselves, Darkflow. When compared to their opponents and peers, these planes don’t belong in the BR where they are currently placed.

When the planes are both moved down a BR, I would suggest filling the holes with Lend Lease vehicles that are worth of being BR V and BR IV. I would suggest adding the P-47D-27-RE for BR V and the P-39 Airecobra for BR IV. Also, if you are willing to add the P-39 Cobra to the Soviets, add it and its variants to the American tech tree as well (they were used early in the war but were transitioned out).

is it not better add Yak-9B and ITP (M-1) for BR IV and La-7B-20 BR V and I-225 then adding same stuff to every faction ? just like i suggested in my topic :

Well, the Soviet P39 had changes made to it to give it a better roll rate, and the variant of the P47 suggested isn’t in the game (it is different from the P-47D-22-RE), but I would like to see all the things you suggested added to the game. You made a very good thread. All I would add is changing the RPM for the FNAB 43 to its actual rate of fire.

now ugh…
it’s gonna be a bit of a clown moment coming from me,
but… that’s a bit derailing a little.
which yes.
albe it, op is specifically talking about lowering down said planes, and if needed, add few others to be some sort of " replacement ".
yours goes abit above and beyond.
well there is land-lease planes but I didn’t touch them but I own the P 63 and the P-39 is also i think in the game fails but I have no idea is it event or something so I didn’'t touch it. But ITP is better then the P -39.
Yak 9t yes…
(but honestly in their current state all fw 190s that arent D series should be br 3 also)
Im personally Not interested in lend lease planes filling the gaps when there are perfectly good soviet planes yet to be added. Not to mention after the additions this year, there really arent any gaps when their only oponent is Germany (at the moment).

I see the point with the Yak (if the other Yak 9 is 3) but I dont see the point with the I-185, especially if it better than the LA-7 and the P-63.

As someone who just recently started playing as a pilot I do actually wonder what the plane balance discussions among dedicated pilots are - for me I think the most powerful attribute a plane can have are rockets, because they can kill the most infantry in a single strafe, however Bombs seem to be only great against tanks, I personally found myself enjoying using 30mm or multiple 20mm guns to be very very satisfying to use… flying low and slow enough and scanning for infantry movement is difficult, probably even too difficult because of the render distance limitations, but I take out APC, AA guns, clusters of infantry and even rallies that my team mates tell me they suspect at certain locations.
Personally I think its weird that 1000 pounds and 500kg bombs are sitting in BR2, but taking out tanks seems like a secondary objective to me anyways, but other than that I think its hard to even discuss plane balance, because unlike tanks where armament and armor are two very straightforward stats, planes have so many aspects to them…
Bombs appear to struggle kill infantry now. Only rockets and some high-calibre guns work now.

Massively simplified but bascially look at 3 areas
- Air Supremacy
- Anti vehicle
- Anti Infantry
Ideally want at least 2 of these. If it can do all 3 you are laughing
E.g Spitfire Mk Vc trop
- Air Supremacy = S Tier
- Anti vehicle = Very Poor
- Anti Infantry = Very Poor
= Niche plane, only for when enemy Air is a big problem
The planes they are strapped to dont really have a great deal else going for them. There are other planes available that can do what they do, while being more versatile.

Well it really depends on the type of bomb not only how big it is. And Turn time and speed for planes and armament. To be honest planes are much more interesting then tanks. But as a starter rocket planes like the lighting are the easiest to use they are unmatched at their BR II and you can equip 2 of them for a fighter and ground attacker so if you get killed you can spawn with the next one and kill your enemy its a good combination to have 2 lightings equipped at lower BRs.
Ohh yeah and don’t forget the controls stay away as a new pilot from P-40 ,I-185 ,all the FW planes. And dont buy the P-63 if you are not having experience with planes since have similar controls but the worst is FW-190D-9 and 12 really avoid them.

The Yak-9B is much more suited for BR 3 rather than BR 4. After all, it can only carry four 100kg bombs, which is far from adequate at BR 4. On top of that, its air-to-air performance falls short compared to something like the G.55.
Well 1 x`100kg bombs are not bad at all
