Move the 88mm Flak 37 Sfl. and KV-2 to BR3,move Marder 3 H to BR2

There are three criteria for judging the quality of a tank in Enlisted: armor, anti tank capability, and anti infantry capability.Missing one of these three attributes will make you feel uncomfortable while driving a tank.I call a tank that trades one of its abilities for other better ones a ‘special tank’.

These ‘special tanks’ provide low BR players with an option to fight against high BR tanks, but at a cost. We have some examples, such as the M10,Ho-Ni1,SU-76M,and Dicker Max.

Now I want to mention some tanks that are very suitable for this job, The premise is that they are in a lower BR.

  • 88mm Flak 37 Sfl.

The 88mm Flak 37 Sfl has the same guns as the Tiger H and they are both in the BR4, but it does not have a turret and its armor is very poor.It lacks a reason to be used in BR4 and should become a natural enemy of KV-1 in BR3.

  • Marder 3 H

At present, Germany lacks BR2 tanks to deal with KV-1 and T-34 on the technology tree. The Marder 3 is in BR2, but the Marder 3 H is in BR3, and the difference between them is not significant. Similarly, there is no reason for people to use the Marder 3 H in BR3.

  • KV-2 (1939) and KV-2 (1940)

The Soviet Union lacked tanks to deal with Tiger 1 and Panther in the BR3, and the T34-57 could only barely penetrate their armor, but its smaller caliber made it difficult to pose a threat. Therefore, we need to move KV-2 to BR3, although it can even pose a threat to Tiger 2, the longest reload time in the game limits its damage to infantry (rarely with several teams together). And its armor is meaningless in BR4.

  • M18 Hellcat

I think there is some controversy about it. In the BR4, it has a powerful cannon with almost no armor, but it has good maneuverability. (Although I think it may not be very useful.) It may also in BR3.

While I agree with the suggestion, I feel like these are better left split into multiple topics.

Yes to all those suggestions.

Great suggestions, but need to split them up a bit.

Saying that, I would also like to recommend the Stug 3F go down to BR2 as well, in my mind it makes a lot of sense there. Not to mention it would be nice to see such an iconic vehicle get more love.

Don’t forget about all StuGs down by 1 BR

StuG with 80mm armor is not suitable for staying in BR2, as no tank can penetrate it.For Stu F, it is also too powerful for BR2, and only M3 can confront it. Before that, similar tanks should be added to the Soviet Union and Japan.

Noted, thanks

50mm of armor is nothing, also has no MG.

Also it has the shorter L43 gun that kinda sucks for what ever reason.

Marder is open top - but has a MG, Stug III F is really not better than Marder

I made a mistake, it seems that there is no 80mm armor in the game.

You mean STUG F? Yeah that one has Panzer III J like armor

I agree with all the above

What are you smoking? It has just 50mm of armor. It has no MG, no turret, no armor and only cannon is good. It’s worse than Dicker max. Stug 3 A is at BR2 and i don’t see you crying about it being too op.

It is not inferior to the Dicker Max, and for tanks such as the BR2 or even BR3, its weakness is only the 50mm vertical armor next to the gun. this 75mm cannon can still cause decent damage to infantry and can destroy tanks.

So the result is:
Armor: average; Anti infantry capability: slightly inferior; Anti tank capability: also average in BR3.
Apart from the lack of a turret, it has no obvious drawbacks. So I tend to think it’s a slightly worse T-34 (1940).

As for Stug3A, its guns are obviously worse. It is difficult to destroy KV-1.

Stug3 F can easily destroy enemy tanks in BR2, but for the enemy, they need to aim carefully. And the loading time of Stug3 F is still fast enough. It can destroy BR3 tanks and has no disadvantage when facing BR2 tanks, which makes it unsuitable to be thrown into BR2.

Obviously, it does not meet the condition of having obvious defects while being able to deal with high BR tanks. But if it has a longer loading time, then it is suitable to stay in BR2.

Not only are you right, you’re correct

How do you need to aim careful again flat 50mm of armor? Okay it has some overlapping areas and isn’t 100% flat, but like 70% of its frontal armor will get penetrated by almost all BR2 vehicles.

Do you think the shooting drive shaft would be useful?

I mean for a start your completely ignoring the fact its a casemate, reducing its effectiveness greatly, not to mention that it approaches being near useless on urban maps due to terrible sight lines for lower tanks.

Its Gun is good, but its not that good, it has limited ammo capacity and bog standard armour at best.

Not to mention its a very good juxtaposition for current BR2 german tanks such as the E and F1 who are amazing at anti infantry work but struggle against armour.

Also its reload time isnt that good? You make it out to be a shell spammer or something.

A TD with short loading time and certain armor can cause sufficient damage to tanks and infantry at long distances, not to mention its BR3 gun.It obviously possesses three abilities in the topic, and there is no need to worry about being unable to penetrate when facing M3 or T-28E with it.

In fact, the armor of the BR2 tank has many flaws, and Stug 3 F is indeed excellent.

Just for a comparasion against the main BR2 tanks it would face, all shots set at 500m to account for minor variations in angle on the basis that the max engagement range in game you will realistically ever face is 200m.

So for context here, in no way is it armour going to need to worry about that, in fact shooting the drive shaft is about the worst place to aim.

Oh and as one last thing, the reload speed of about 6 seconds is more than long enough to justify it, not to mention it is in no way fast.
