currently there is no reason to use it over mp-40 and germany will only have foreign smgs in br 1-2 if we wont count mp-28 and mp-3008.

I agree, it makes more sense that the early version of the MP 40 would only be in early war, while the standard would be neutral BR 3 and appear anywhere
