Move KV-2 (1939) to BR 3

and said packs do nothing as they can’t pen 75mm of the side armor

while in reality it would just camp in the grayzone not being able to get killed by anyone but planes

just because it sometimes can doesn’t mean it’s reliable

Pz3 J1, and the BR2 AT gun

Is the old Battle of Moscow Pz-IVE still around?? I forget - I didn’t buy it - but it has HEAT that can deal with it too.

On most occasions you will have a year or more to back up before it shoots again.

What does that mean?

As a warthunder tanker, KV-2 is just a worse KV-1…its a DERP gun for the LoLz…Picking a KV-2 over a KV-1 is just doing any BR 3 German tanker a favour. (That reload speed)

I suggested BR 3 before they were released.

Also Flak 37 Truck can go to BR 3 as a small consolation prize.

I agree solely because I want to see this behemoth appear in Moscow the way it should’ve been since the beginning. Despite some issues here and there, what I liked the most from the all maps open for all BRs test we had recently was seeing vehicles such as these in it’s “natural habitat”. In the same regard, vehicles such as the Flak bus should also be BR III, the same way it happened with the Dicker Max being down tiered

like Dicker Max?

Dicker max is 105mm, Like the Sherman 105

Like the Chi-Ha Short Gun?
33 seconds reload time. Quite a good compromise for BR3

is 120mm

Ive already said I recommended KV-2 for BR 3 before it was even released.

I don’t know why you talked to me then.

just correcting 105 is not 152. thats all

I know, I wrote this specifically to later say that the KV has a larger caliber, but the gun reload time is longer.
I don’t think highly of you either, but not that much.

Germanium :joy::joy::joy::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: damn i feel that more often when i play germans they get something from USSR

Well historically speaking most KV2 were destroyed before Germany even used Panzer IV with the long canon…

To time period wise it should be a BR1 tank - but that would obviously be too much.

KV2 has something weird going on with its survivability - it can survive Tiger II shots despite penetration, which needs to change, but other than that it actually is just a KV1 with a troll gun.

That is called overpenetration, where the AP derivative shell goes straight out the other side without doing any damage. This is because there isn’t enough resistance for the shell to fragment. A HE would probably do more damage through overpressure.

Same caliber, but not anything like it otherwise - Dicker has a long gun with massive penetration - Sherman has a short howitzer relying on HEAT for moderate penetration.

In WT you generally take about 1/2 ammo which means much of hte turret is empty - an 88 might go straight through killing a crew or 2 but not exploding the ammo

Back to the OP - all you guys worried about it know that this is the 1939 version right - the one with no machineguns at all, and weak front turret armour due to being vertical?

[ETA - my mistake the 1939 has the sloped armour - it is the 1940 has the flat turret front - but hte 1939 one definitely has no MG! ]

And in Enlisted no-one gets to take less ammo, so all the KV-2 turrets - both varieties - are essentially ammo racks at the start of the game.

I agree. Kv 2 is simply too unconventional for it to be worth br 4. Sure it does have biggest cannon in the game but most of the time you are shooting small groups of enemies that are separated instead of 1 big clump. In these situations faster loading 75s are just more effective. The armour is good in downtiers but any tank in br 3-4 can pen it easily + the slow reload, tall profile and slow turret traverse dont really help. It does get good pen and it can deal with panthers but when facing br 2-3 tank the big cannon is overkill and a burden if you face multiple opponents at once. Also the tank has no mg and you can even use the hatch meaning that you will have to waste an entire 152mm shell just to kill one guy with panzerfaust only for another guy to kill you while you reload. Normal kv 1 or even t 34 is better in 99% of the time

KV-2 requires descent because it is absolutely not relevant
Even the basic pak-38 punches it head-on.
What can we say about Panzer 4
But alas, there is the same problem as with the kv-1 zis 5 too fat for 2 br if the selection is such that 3 will play with 3 then kv 2 should be moved to 3 br
Otherwise, we will get Pillbox which which will be in the gray area , except by aviation, you will not destroy
Perhaps there will be more guerrillas
in any case, it will be a challenge and they will hardly go for it.
And if they do, it will be in a couple of years)

They get a boom boom

I believe there was a captured KV-2r
Germany should get one too for BR3, but if KV2 would move to BR3, the KV-2r would be stay for BR4 hahaha
