I agree, that BAR is the only reason why I cannot use my WW1 esque US squad in BR II

BAR feels better to play than MG13 mostly due visual recoil being much lesser, movement speed and ADS speed also being superior. Vertical recoil never mattered as it can be easily bypassed by you pulling gun down or using -vertical recoil perk.
It needs some massive nerf if you want to see it at BR2 and MG13 needs to have visual recoil lowered significantly + few stats tweaked as i really dislike using that MG in a current form (Soviets are vastly overrating it’s importance and power)

I always use it in BR3 it’s still awesome so i don’t understand your issue. BARs are much better than ultra slow MG34 anyway. You want to sprint like madman and kill people from the flank not camp in one place like grandma, that’s how you win games.
The MG13 is really powerful, just compare it to the rest of the BR2 MGs.
This is my way of fighting MG, if you want to run around like crazy, use assaulter squad.
And that’s how you lose games where you need to capture points. Nope BAR squads are even better than assaulters at storming points due of their dmg per hit, and sprint penalty never existed as i use swords/axes/maces/etc.
if it get some nerf in stats I agree, if not, stays in br 3

i think BAR 1918, BAR 19198A1 to BR2, M1918A2 in br3, and give USA a New 40rnd BAR

And 50 round at BR5 
with better recoil + dispersion so it could be a sidegrade to M1919A6 more precise but way less ammo but still less accurate than M1919 as it has faster rof
