Would help to curb the cas spam that even after bomb nerf still plagues all campaigns. would also reduce the frequency of you bombing someone, followed by them pulling a plane and shooting you in the back with no chance for you to retaliate and start a dogfight
note: this is just for the spawns, resupply points should stay where they are
I dont know if this is an unpopular opinion or not. But i dont really think planes are a problem anymore. I cant remember the last time i gave a shit when there was a plane in the sky
Agreed for the sake of reducing CAS spam, but it should be tested. I sense it might indirectly buff tanks so better hand held long range AT weapons might be needed.

Nerfing those even more will merely encourage kamikaze runs even more, and those are worse for the ground as regular bomb drops from kamikaze runs are 100% accurate even from newbies.

Two days ago I had a match where 2 guys were constantly kamikadzineing planes one after another for the whole match. And of course we could do nothing about it and they both were on top of the leader board with 150ish kills each.
Planes are a problem. Or more preciselly, kamikadze planes.
I admit I now rarely play vehicles and focus on infantry… must be why I’m less impacted by those. I really dislike kamikaze planes though.

i actually found a suicide bomber on my team on normandy yesterday. motherfucker had 20 deaths and 30 kills. what a pathetic being
why do people waste the planes? You Get so many more kills with precision ground attacks and reload.
staying in a plane too long will kill your xp gain rate, and some people have multiple planes so its way faster for them to just cycle. also, if you’re on defence you have unlimited tickets so there’s zero downside to doing it

If my plane is too damaged to be useful or I’d just be a lot more helpful on the ground, I can now just bail and parachute down.
Kamikaze BS is now inexcusable.
