Move AKT-40 at 3 BR

Hello, ladies and gents.
Do you remember very rare squad, which haven`t an enginer, an at-gunner, no helth perk?
Only a soldiers with an AKT-40 - an extremly high recoil rifle with 10 rounds.

What I suggest? Put the default fire switch to a single fire and move it to BR 3.
Seriously, I got it about 3 years and use it about 3 times.

As I sad - its very rare, have very bad conditions about recoil, reload and rounds capacity, no engy, no AT. Who else in a wolrd would use it in Br 4 with almost every time playing against 5 Br? Nobody.

But at Br3 it can be interesting and realy uniqe squad.

I suppose you have a point to a degree, I actually dunno what squad your on about nor how good the weapon is, but Id rather it remain at BR4 and get buffed to remain there.

So we end up with AKT-40 to be equivalent of squads such G41m.

Back to past where balance didn’t mean a thing.

Definitely not a powercreep.

Buff its visual recoil, moving a SF rifle to BR3 is out of question.

Disagree as a Soviet main

I run them in BR5, with AVS36 on their back. Their 28? weapons handling makes them a lazer cannon with any upgraded rifle in their hands.

  • Theyre solid with BR5 rifles in secondary slot
  • rifle itself is perfect for BR4 - infact I want to see more 10 round automatics for BR4 since its the weakest part of BR4 uptier
  • not realy necessary for BR3, plenty of ppl complain about soviet bias already.

Tldr, leave them where they are, instead add more BR4 semi -auto first, automatic rifles in the TT

I totally agree that I used a half-price discount to buy this squad, but I’ve been suffering ever since. Maybe I should have spent that money on Girls’ Frontline: Exilium instead.

Do they share ammunition between the AKT and the AVS?

I never thought about bringing two main weapons but for them it might be a good idea :thinking:

nope, 10rd clip vs 15. Even AVS and AVT40 dont have the same 15rd clip actually.

I often main my soviets like that (dual AVS/AVT) for the fast switch rifle - get functionally 30 rds before needing to reload :slight_smile:

AKT squad is pretty goated in my book. While no vitality perk they get the fast heal +15%, so with maxed out fast heal their down state is only -90%.

aka they get up SUPER QUICK

is having the best BR3 rifle with the SVT-38 not enough? good lord, be thankful the AKT40 is the only automatic rifle at BR4 and not stuck at BR5

You should ask for buffs instead of trying to harass the lower tiers

To be honest, I’m kind of impressed how soviet players have the confidence to literally just ask for select fire rifles in BR3 with a straight face

Japan paras is a way more effective. Mkb 42 (an event one) is also very good.
SVT-38 is fine but I do like some rare uniqe stuff to play like PPD-44 at Br 3

The Hei LMG is an LMG with a movement speed penalty, not a riflemen weapon.

The MKb42(M) doesn’t have the range, damage, or accuracy as a riflemen weapon.

Neither weapon is in a 9 man riflemen squad.

I don’t get why you make such a comparison.

Just ask for the weapon to be buffed so its suitable at BR4. It’s utterly insane to make uptiered BR2 players fight a 9 man squad of select fire rifles.

But there is 5 Mkb 35/III can be owned by somebody at II br. And nobody complain)
AKT-40 is a very rare unit - so it cant be a problem for anybody
AKT-40 doesnt have an accuracy, very bad recoil, so range not an option. One thing you can do - is just an autofire at 10 meters.

Because it fires slower than M3 grease guns. It’s also not a riflemen weapon.

So let’s put the G43 Kurz in BR1 because it’s a very rare weapon then
