That looks like a driver (or potentially a hardware) error.

I’d check the Event Viewer.

If you don’t know how to get there:

  1. Right-click Start button and select Event Viewer.

  2. On the left of the window, expand Windows Logs

  3. The two options you’re interested in are Application and System. Click on either to open them, then click Filter Current Log… on the right. Tick the Critical, Warning, and Error boxes then click OK.

  4. With Application open, look for any application errors. You’ll see one for Enlisted in the list, just check to see if there are any other applications that errored around the same time. If you see some, then it could indicate a driver issue or an application conflict.

  5. With System open, look for any hardware errors. DistributedCOM errors can be ignored. What you’re looking for is any others, like Kernel errors etc. This will show you more hardware oriented problems.

Another good tool is the built-in reliability monitor. Click Start then start typing reliability, it should give an option to View Reliability History. This will show a graph of recent computer history and any failures. It’s a lot earier to navigate than the Event Viewer, so maybe try that first.

Both should give you an indication of what went wrong.
