ABSOLUTELY NOT. Lack of buttons is unfortunate (I myself play on Xbox), but adding that function would bring the advantage that PC has to console. This is a bad thing as not everyone can afford to get a good mouse and keyboard setup, or in some cases, can’t actually use them due to missing limbs (a buddy of mine is missing some fingers) where they can use a controller, but not mouse and keyboard.
Giving an unfair advantage to players within consoles is busted and for the sake of fairness, as we console players have the ability to disable crossplay with PC for THIS VERY REASON. Adding mouse and keyboard to console should not be considered.
I agree with keeping m&kb separate from controller players. I think a fair compromise would be to switch console players into the PC player pool if they have a m&kb setup so that they get filtered out of ‘console only’ games
