Everytime i mounted a weapon onto a ledge, the weapons seems to not moved back and forth. It kept on switching between mounting and not mounting then mount again and unmount again. The way it switched to mount and dismount are fully automatic and i have to moved away for it to stop.

Generally try to mount on flat surfaces ONLY. Like floor/ground, windows (not all) or sandbags. Current mounting system really doesn’t like uneven surfaces.
Also make sure to have some space around you. If your soldier steps on a box or something, it may cause you to loose mounting.

Even when not moving, while on flat ground, soldiers remove their guns from bipod positions…
Such a wonderful system…
