Ho-Ri II (production) had 5-6 metal tanks partially built but the war cut them short from being competed

The Ho-Ri III in game is fake

Type 4 Chi-To I
75mm Armour
400-500hp engine
Type 2 57mm Main Gun (800m/s)

Chi Ha 12cm Short and Ho Ni 2, probably are both BR3, though I do think the Na-To could go down purely because how easy it is to kill, like a single HE shell near it is instant death for it.

there is no evidence of even a single ho-ri being built provide at least one image of a tank

also its ho-ri prototype, 1 2 what ho-ri 3

Ho-Ri Prototype

No, the Ho-Ri tank was not fully built. While the Japanese Army had plans to produce 5 units, only one fully operational prototype was completed, and the remaining four were only 50% complete by the end of the Second World War. The War Thunder wiki states that the project was scrapped and no further testing was pursued. The “Ho-Ri Production” variant, which is also a subject of discussion, was also not built in reality, according to a Reddit thread and a YouTube video.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

This version was a mockup and is considered the most accurate representation of the intended design. It was a tank destroyer with a forward-mounted engine and a 105mm gun.

This version was a further development of Model 1, but it was less heavily armored and had a more conventional Chi-Ri chassis and armament.

This was a hypothetical production design, envisioned with increased armor and a longer gun. However, it only existed as a wooden mockup.

Another design, featuring a Chi-Ri chassis but with a casemate in the middle, similar to the Jagdtiger, and a 20mm gun on the engine deck.

the five models were planned but not built, the one built hull was the chi-ri hull to be used in one variation of the tank thus not a finished ho-ri

And I almost dated Angelina Jolie but my lunch break was over.

Same level of proofs provided.

All Ho-Ri are imaginary tanks.

These too.

Would be cool and a real counter to Sherman instead of Chi-nu that has really mediocre pen as it has short 75mm.

Nah it’s fine at BR3 we don’t need more HE spam

it’s too huge for current pacific maps how would you cross the map when you can’t cross wooden bridges, rivers or climb mountains?

‘Type 4 Chi-To II’ is already in game. Its the 2nd prototype version, the Pre-Production with the cast turret
Chi-To Production is the Chi-To late

I’m sitting on this forum for 25/8 and I’m only waiting for spam pictures.
GIVE ME A PICTURE

Chi-Nu with the type 3 75mm should be able to pen sherman frontal armour up to 600m

Any of them made irl?

This is “Type 4 Chi-To II”
The Pre-Production cast version

The Chi-To late was given green light for mass production but only 6 were being built and at early stage when Japan surrendered

Ah yes I was talking about Chi-Ri we have in game

A single unarmed prototype of the Type 5 Chi-Ri was completed by May 1945.[1][2]

There were also plans for a Type 5 Chi-Ri II , to be diesel powered and using the Type 5 75 mm tank gun as its main armament.[11]

That one was never even built again

The 3D model is wrong, the turret should be futher forward on the hull

That’s not the point.

Chi-Ri I was (almost) built as a single incomplete prototype.

Chi-Ri II (the one ingame) never even existed.

Chi-Ri II didnt exist
Whats this then

it was completed but when the autoloader thing was overall a failure the gun was removed due to type 5 75mm guns being limited and needed elsewhere. When US forces found it, it already had the gun removed and they classed it as incomplete prototype
