Mossin M91 with suppressor

Hi! I’m this one sniper who uses radio operator squad for spamming artillery strikes and that one who mines his back as if you wanted to finish me off in melee;]
However, my question is whether there is anyone familiar with suppresed Mossin? Is it any good? Couse stats are disappointing. But maybe the silencer itself gives a significant advantage? Is it much harder to track down a sniper while shooting? Is killcam same as ussuall? Is there anyone who plays this device regularly and can recommend?

its dog water, sure its fun to use but it has so much dispersion and highly unrealistic arcade play of slower velocity and as a sniper rifle that is a big no no
the only thing going for it is that bots dont really shoot at you when you miss

It’s the same, but afaik if you get shot by a silenced weapon there won’t be the direction indicators to see where the shot came from.

And yeah, AI will have slower reaction times when shot by silenced guns.

The bramit suppresor on the mosin required the use of subsonic ammunition, so it is in fact realistic.

not to the point that the bullet travels at the same speed as the shot gun

Dispersion is the same, it’s only because of the slower velocity

I will get one some day just to play on custom lone fighter games, there it would be nice with no kill cams.

For normal games suppressed weapons like bramit are better as silencer actually would be usefull versus bots

I use it with my artillery squad to reduce attention while I’m shooting between artillery drops. It’s fun and effective-ish at close to medium range, especially against bots. As mentioned: the velocity is low and bullet drop is significant, so long range engagements are inadvisable.

Now that the silenced nagant revolver has a higher rate of fire, it’s not so bad a gun either. At least, it’s not entirely useless.

If you’re looking for something a little different, and don’t have your expectations set too high, I’d recommend the set.
