I just wanted to point out that since Enlisted’s release/CBT, I’ve noticed something that needed to be corrected a long time ago. Upon playing Enlisted, I noticed that Mosin-Nagant Stripper clip falls off by pushing the bolt back into firing position. This is not a Mauser action, which means that the stripper clip needs to be taken off manually after loading the cartridges. Also the model for the stripper clip is incorrect.
But this pales in comparison to the real stripper clip problem. They were tiny death traps. Even in the ammo pouches made for Mosin ammo and clips, they’d often jingle around enough to have the rims be behind the cartridge below them, resulting in jams that would require you to release the entire magazine and take an extra 20-25 seconds to load (or 10-15 seconds if you’re willing to dump the 5 rounds and brandish a new clip). If the clips were on tight enough to not let the cartridges move it’d be too tight to let you push them out with a reasonable amount of force. I’ve scraped a lot of skin off my thumb and index finger using stripper clips, and that’s just at the range where there’s no pressure. An option to use clips or not risk jams would more authentic. You can also carry more 7.62x54R in the official pouches if you discard the clips (40).
Regardless thats not how a Mosin Stripper Clip works.
