No I am saying that for a certain point the mortar squad can be great and for another its not. So you pick the mortar for a certain point and get kills there. If they push the point and you need something else than the mortar squad you choose that one when you are dead. Like a normal person, play all aspects of the game.
BUFF? Hell no, it was horrible before and it’s in a good place now. Just nerf planes now as well and the balance will be complete.

every mortar team maximum fireing 140 mortar,
for a 15minutes game, you must fire 20mortar/minute,
while time to spawn, moving, etc are not count…
so please tell me, can you reach 30% accuracy? (84 hit over 280 mortar shell)

Planes ARE unfun to play against. I put planes in the same category as mortars.
Uhm, WHAT?! Mortar squads have rifles and grenades, just like any other squad and they can fight just like any other squad after mortar rounds are expended. No need for suicide. Anyone suiciding after running out of ammo is a pampered, petulant little bitch. 40 rounds are more than enough to rack up a lot of kills. Such people clearly have no intention of actually playing an FPS.

Meh, I’m having great success with my lil mortar team; 20 shells is really plentiful for the purpose they have: quick dislodging of enemies then assault. It’s just perfect.
As for arty, the ONLY thing I’d modify is the xbox red circle of death for the enemy. It should not appear BEFORE the range finding shot. That’s pretty much it.
It’s rare I say this, but I think DarkFlow found a good balance for current mortar squads. I wouldn’t change/buff them.

I think I see what you’re trying to say. And my counterargument is this:
Because every 20 seconds is 63% of half-moon based on forks (and other cutlery), you fire mortars at Jesus. Now, 5% of that goes to the tax office, and 100x2 is 90%. Double that so pandas can fuck again. You see what I mean? Simple.

game is for fun, bascially, after using all mortar, I feed all AI and sniped enemy (since mortar team have sniper slot), 25 sniper ammo
I will change to planes and tanks for more kills
He is still making a solid point that all of you are ignoring. Players cant be bothered to improve themselves to deal with mortars and radioman. Mortars are not that tough to deal with and anyone saying otherwise is just bad lol.
You die once and it literally shows you where you were killed from. Proceed to push that direction till you hear the shots and then all you have to do is throw a grenade into their ammo pile. Yall instead sit back and cry because yall are too trash to actually push past the line.
Same goes with radiomen. People STILL complaining that they are “spammy” when you can only call 1 at a time… It literally tells you on the minimap the moment it is casted AND gives you a ton of pre-fire time to realize it through audio cues. Yet still somehow op???

It took me 2 months (around 50 hours) with infantry to learn how to navigate around, build, throw grenades or to actually point someone’s body and make him die without expecting him to stay in place for another 5 seconds to correct my aim; etc. Now I’m #3-#5 more often than #6-#10 which is already good enough on my level. This is a skill I needed to practice.
It took me 15 minutes to figure out how to use the mortar, to use one of my soldiers to put a marker so I can relate my aim to something. 10 minutes of it was getting used to the fact that I mostly pick up my mortar instead of changing range if I press movement buttons instead of using the mouse.
It took me another half day to realize I can use the ALT+LMB on map as well (never tried it) to put markers without moving around.
With my first ever mortar attempts in 3 play sessions I killed a tank and like 5-10 ordinary jogging people which is perfect for 30 shots. With my first ever infantry attempts I dropped smoke grenade on the tank and it did not die, it was me who had bigger problems hiding while laughing.
I assume there is still some stuff to master here as well, but I don’t see the steep learning curve.

In fact I telling all of you to capture the point, since most of those point have roofs, unless you close to window, you wont get hit by mortar…
I still dont have issue with them being in the grey area because they have a max range of 250m. So they are still always close enough to deal with.
This game is about throwing away soldiers, so why are yall having an issue with throwing away one to run into the grey zone just to throw 1-3 grenades to get a squad wipe?
