yesterday was the first time I could try to resuply the mortar and it was a bit “overpower”, but now, only 10 shots is useless.
if your team don’t mark enemy spots, you must be shooting to see where your mortars are landing. so I think only 10 rounds are few.
So, to not be OP, I suggest that the mortar squad has at least 2 carriers with 10 shells (30 shells total) but that carriers can be killed, so you must take care of your squad
They should of made them play inside the playable zone, made them show up on maps and nerfed the ammo though not to this extent. I HATE mortar gameplay but just 10 rounds is too harsh and I unfortunately agree the squad is useless and should just be removed

Mortars need more than 10 rounds (and remember, yesterday was the first time I tried to resuply my mortar. Till yesterday I was using it like it is suppose to be used now and I almost don’t use the mortar because only 10 rounds are few
Just remove the squad. It was broken before and they couldn’t balance it and now it went from broken over powered to broken useless. They clearly cant balance it so switch it with something useful
The capture points show you the range. It’s pretty easy to gauge the first round (outside of shot deviation.)
This is actually more powerful than the limitations a lot were proposing (myself included.) I was for spotting them on the map after the first 5 rounds and force them to relocate.
This change gives them 20, then forces them to do something else.
I played my radio squad last night trying to complete a task and noticed how much more powerful my mortar team was. It’s not uncommon to just sit in the back and shell non-stop the whole game finishing first. Artillery isn’t even close to that with a Radio squad and they still got a nerf.
simply, a little more shells and no option to use more than 1 mortar man.
1 mortar man+ 2 carriers = 30 shells. Each carrier carry 10 rounds, if they are killed, you loose that shells, so you must take care of your unit and there is a max number of shells
There were many options to do things to make them counter able and limit ammo but as usual they went too far. Same with premium squads. I’m just waiting for the Jumbos “counter”. Instead of switching it they add a panther and just reverse the situation
I usually shoot the zones where the enemies go to the capture points to cut their advance and my team can reach the point first, so i’m blind if my team don’t use marks (never use it)
other solution is keep the 10 rounds, but let us select in map where we want to shoot.
there must be a middle point. Before was op, now is useless
