What about allowing mortar squads to be equipped with light mountain guns, similar to how machine gun squad engineers can man heavy machine guns? Only HE ammunition is used

Good suggestion, but would add smoke shells same as the mortar.
Hmm, that’s a pretty good idea, and a mortar squad would definitely increase its popularity and usage.
I love this idea!
I use my German and Allied mortar squads a lot in level 5 with good results. So, anything to make them better is great by me.
Fine idea, until the Soviets brings the 120 mm mortars 
…but I’m still a fan of the idea! (Because I want my infantry support gun)
