I was picking up more gold order weapons before they are gone, and I noticed that the M1E5 Garand is usable by tank crews, but not pilots or APC drivers. I think this was probably an oversight due to the weapon being older than the APC driver class. I would like to see the M1E5 Garand (and the M1 Carbine) become usable by all vehicle crews. It would be more of a flavor addition than anything else, as most would opt for the SMG option instead.

Also make all shotguns be usable by vehicle crews. They are not op and would fit the class quite well. (also m30 drilling could be used finally by pilots)

he meant M1 carbine, I get the joke but since he was talking about personal defense weapons, its actually possible to recognise that he was talking about M1 carbine without mentioning the carbine word.
Though I suppose most people are not well versed in English weapon terminology.

dont worry I was well awake, however personally, I would also love to use the M1 chem mine as a PDW, just need a gasmask I think, mount it like its a squid launcher to the side of your vehicle. Ambush? Instant Pocket Flanders.

Gas mask will help your lungs and eyes vs vs mustard gas - but it is a blistering agent so also absorbed through your skin.
yeah… though had more meant it as a joke, a 4.5kg mustard gas bomb is far more funny than effective.
100% agree. I’ve been saying that since pre merge. M1 Carbine sucks and it’s no surprise because it wasn’t supposed to be for frontline troops.
It was for secondary troops as a PDW as you call them. It’s insane to me that truck drivers, tankers and other classes who would’ve actually used the M1 Carbine are prevented from doing so.

In addition, would propose that bolt action carbines be made usable by vehicle operators. Especially for the Russians and the Japanese as they essentially have no rifle options for their crews.
