They could add historical squads to investigate as a different section to the weapons, it does not matter that they come predetermined with weapons that are already in the technology tree but to add squads from other divisions, at least the same ones that they took out when they unified and made the technology tree; not to mention that on the Axis sides they could add more Italian, Hungarian, Romanian squadrons, on the allied side Canadian, Indian, Brazilian, Polish, French, etc. On the other hand, they could add the Manlicher M93 rifle, since at least I had it when there was the Stalingrad campaign, but when they unified it was one of the rifles that they took out, despite the fact that at the time it was affordable for everyone.
Also the idea of a Campaign in Italy could add battles such as Monte Cassino, Anzio, Monte Castello, Gothic Line, Sicily. Not to mention where there was a confrontation between units from various countries that participated in it
