It took me a while to notice but finally I realized that the damage of a tank-based MG is a lot lower than the damage of an infantry-based MG. And a tank MG fires very high caliber bullets, so please tell me: How is this realistic?
I know it might be because of balance, but there are other, more realistic ways to balance tank MGs. For example, tank MGs could have a lower turn rate or be only turnable on one axis or something like that but making their damage lower than a smg is absolutely not realistic!
So please increase tank MG damage to a realistic Value!
Also, the Damage of Stationary Guns in Bunkers and AA Tank guns is by far too low.
Yeah overheat should be reduced as well, but still reduced damage is just so annoying…
Especially on stationary MGs like the bunker mg42 or aa tank it just really sucks if you fire into enemy groups of 20 and get 1 kill beacause it takes so long to eliminate one enemy and they all just scatter
so one difference is acceptable and other is not when both are done cause of balance? should tanks be allowed total superiority on ground? they are already almost always getting top spot on scoreboard cause of their efficiency in killing enemy and further buffing already top performer would make it OP.
tank mains would be happy with buffing MG, but infantry mains wouldnt.
I think that tanks will be nerfed with upcomming Guerilla update and we need a way to buff “frontline” tanks, so mg dmg boost along with overheat remove could be a good idea
only ways that works , heavy nerf to any shell with he, remove gray zone, prevent shooting from gz, stop allowing tanks to detonate shells in dirt or point blank, btw i mean one or two nerfs not all 4
I totally agree with you, if they made something like that it would keep balance and enhace realism. If this isn’t balanced correctly theres always the possibility to ajust the details a little bit, but I think overall its a step into the correct direction.
Maybe the maps could be adustet to prevent tanks from beeing to OP by adding more cover for infatry or more zones where tanks just can’t go because of czech hedgehogs or anti tank trenches. Also, if tanks get more powerful, the points for destroying one with infantry could be set to a more apropriate level.
