greetings.
so, i have a few question.
- 1) how do i remove bots from joining a specific team? and how can i put more bots in one team than another?
i know there are those two features:
though, no matter the value or the box checked, those still do not do anything.
as if i check the box, and put the value to 0, bots still join.
and i haven’t found a way to straight up move bots to another team outnumbering the players ( for a bit of a challenge )
- 2) how can i make bots respect one squad/unit respawn rules.
second issue that i have, bots disregard completely the respawn rule. they straight up " cheat " and respawn despite them dying before. so, how can i make the spawn overrule their behavior and overpass?
make it similar to players. where if they die, they are not allowed to spawn with that unit anymore.
because like, as you can see, i wiped out 16 squads of one bot unit, but they keep coming:
which it’s a little bit inconvenient. and unrealistic since profiles do not have 16 squads ( or more ).
and last question ( though i believe it’s gonna be pretty much impossible just as much as the ones above )
- 3) one squad/soldier system refresh.
so, i want to create some sort of one squad life ( both for players and bots ). where it’s mostly gonna be useful in my pves/coops. where players will have to assault or defend. though, in order to make it similar to IS2 ( a game. not the tank ) or DOI, i want that they only have one life or perhaps multiple lives, though once those are finished, they will not be able to respawn until the capture point has been taken or lost.
does it make sense?
essentially, to give context and scenarios, the attacking team will be made out of players, and bots will be defenders.
players must capture the point though have to do it efficiently and use the limited amount of resources that they have. once they die, they can’t respawn. meaning that, in order for those players to respawn, ally must capture the point. and the whole process will restart.
somewhat of a fair system for everyone to use their equipment without negatively effect the whole squad ticket system. and make it somewhat mil sim yet mostly arcady.
same goes for the other way around where players will have to defend from bots.
their objective is to hold as much as they can, with lives that they have. once those lives are finished, they will have to wait for the ally to win and defend, or get replenish their unit once the capture point has been lost.
to actually think strategically and make defenses a bit more interesting than straight up charging the point and increase the body count for the defenders to outright have more casualties then attackers.
is it… even possible?
