Tl;dr got yelled at in Discord for begging for more uniform variety, begging here in the vain hope they’ll actually read this stuff.
Title really says it all, but I’d love for there to be more pouch variety on the uniforms - M41 Parson Jackets of a singular colour with all the pouches - SMG, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, BAR Rifle - available for it, German greatcoats with STG and MP40 pouches, British P37 battledress trousers in the usual dark-brown with the anklets of the light-brown and the light-brown tunics equipped with the standard P37 Bren pouches and rifle pouches, etc, etc.
It’s fairly basic stuff I’d like to see, stuff that’s already in game assets-wise and could easily be put together, as it has been shown to be by modders.
It’s not much, but I and a great deal of others have asked for similar. Think it might be worth the devs putting this one, as it’s ideal for squad customisation and it’s not particularly taxing in terms of new systems introduced and all that - it’s just further use of assets already available.

It should be just automatic based on what primary weapon you are currently using.

Yeah, that’d be good, but the devs are never going to do that because they don’t care enough to. So, I’ll take whatever the most obvious - and laziest - option is because that’s most likely what they’ll do.

I made multiple posts about this topic, and uniforms overall.
It needs to happen, they want to make money and I’m willing to spend money on it. I’m not sure why they can’t expand on their already existent models of items in games and expand on it with more abilities and options to change and modify out characters.

Ideally pouches would by dynamic with the weapon you’re currently using.
Using an StG (or any other weapon using StG mags) and small ammo pouches (for some reason), then you get two pouches on one side. StG and large ammo pouches, you get two and each side. Same for the FG-42 (though I don’t see how you could vary the sizes for those). Etc for every other weapon type and faction.

I’ve long since given up on them doing anything actually meaningful with this, so hey, I might as well see if they can be bothered to do at least the little things

customization is broken right now. forget pouches, now the outfits won’t even carry over multiple campaigns when it is the same exact outfit

That was an intentional change by the devs. We are all disappointed in that taking place.
